Who believes that the two by two unpaid ministry as Christ instructed is still going on in all parts of the world today....I know it is.

Also that salvation should not cost one cent to have?

Me ! I know it still happens , thanks to God for that . I was brought to the Truth by unpaid ministry .

    Hi Delilah

    Thanks for your reply.

Can you tell me a little more of the Truth you believe in.

Are you meeting of a Sunday in the home and partaking of the Emblems?

    Dear Alan

Emblems? Are they emblems? Or are they literally (by faith) the Flesh and Blood of Jesus?
  • Delilah - In Reply - 2 years ago
We call them the Emblems too !

Hi Allan . Many years ago , I was quite suddenly filled with a desire to read the Bible , I was in my mid twenties . I had been reading it regularly and trying to figure out how to pray to God . I'd visited one or two local churches on a Sunday , just to see what they were like , dipping my toes in the water so to speak . One Saturday I was walking through the main high street of my town and in an old deserted church there was being held a Bible exhibition . The church had not been used as a church for a long time but was regularly used as a meeting room / conference centre for hire . So I went into the Bible exhibition . There were some old Bibles on display and some historical information etc and a few nice people to talk to . They gave me a card with details of where and when their congregation met and I went along one Sunday night . That was it really . Been going ever since . Their daytime Sunday service is for baptised members only , visitors can attend but are not permitted to take the bread and wine unless they have been baptised . Sunday night is for anyone to attend and is always a Bible based lecture . Wednesday night is Bible study , open to anyone but we don't get many visitors to that , mostly just us members . No one gets paid for anything , we do a Saturday coffee morning , we provide the coffee and biscuits to anyone who wants to pop in and have a chat . That's it really . Very basic and simple .

    Hi Delilah

Is the ministry 2 men or 2 women.

Do they go to Convention each year? and a mid year gathering also.

    Undenominational Christians.

    Alan
