Pray first and ask Jesus to open your heart to his word then read acts 16:25 to 33.

    Hi brother,

There are a few. However, the one that jumps out immediately is John 14:6. Jesus told us, "I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me".

    James,

John 1:12 would be one place in scripture. But please note that it says receive, not accept. A person must receive Christ. I don't know of any verse that says to accept Him. The Bible does say that we must receive Him. There is a difference between accept and receive. To accept just means to mentally agree with something.

Jesse. Great comment because receiving taking in what someone else is

Handing out accepting is one the receiver not the giver major application

    And understanding of condition biblically.

I like the story when Nicodemus comes to Christ in the night! Nicodemus ,afraid He would be found out by His peers, Knows there is something He must find out about! His question of being born again and re entering His Mother's womb? This story in the book of John you will find as you begin reading from the first chapter. Many wish to know the hidden truths even like Nicodemus. Understanding Christ words would require complete "submersion" in His words!
