Bible Discussion Thread

Today, October 7th, 2022, a very dear family friend and elder in my church has passed. I have known her my entire life, my family met her shortly after my older sister was born. 23 years and she has always been there for me and my sisters, and I don't feel strong enough to continue my walk without her. She was a guiding light and family. I need the strength of prayer to get through this, so please pray for us, her church family and her own children.

Your friend is asleep in Christ . The loving friendship that you had with her was a blessing from God , for you and for her . One day you will be reunited with your friend . I'm sure she would want you to be strong in the faith that you shared with her and continue in this life until God decides you shall do otherwise . You still have your very best friend , the One that brought you and your friend together in the first place , the One who blessed you two with each others company and support , the One who has always been your best friend and Who is still with you now . All good things come from God and He is the source of all blessings . Thank Him for your friend and continue your walk , in this life , with your family , friends and congregation , we will all be together with Christ in God's Kingdom when it's time for that to happen according to God's Will . Your very best friend will never leave you for a second .
