I have been really struggling to connect to GOD. Every time I try, I feel like I am moving one step back. I do not feel like I am doing the right things, do not feel like I am praying right, and I definitely feel like I am not in the right space of mind. I have this sense of laziness that is controlling me and i cannot get over it. I need advice or guidance of some sort.

Dear Sbongile, when I get to feeling like God is far from me, I remember that Jesus promised to be with us always. Matthew 28:20 "...lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." If you are a born-again Christian, God is with you whether you feel His presence or not.

The Bible teaches us not to go by feelings or sight, but by faith, 2 Corinthians 5:7 "(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)" Again, it doesn't matter whether we feel His presence or not, He has promised to be with us and He does not lie.

What is faith? Constant outlook of trust towards God.

Pray, read His WORD and study it in daily devotions and have faith.

    God Bless!

Dear "Sbongile" , I understand what you mean, and I stop by the condition every now and then. So whatever comes up, we lift it up to God and Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. You who are Unique God Almighty Lord. You who created Heaven and Earth. And You who know about all the hairs on our heads. We honor You God, and love Your truth, and all our siblings. Since we must learn everything Lord from You. So hear our cry Lord. Guide us to the truth day by day. Because we don't mean to let You down Lord. But we end up there no matter how hard we try ourselves. We understand that the days are evil and we stand in the gap of them. You are coming soon Jesus, come soon! You understand our thoughts and hearts, thank You very much for that Lord. You know our innermost thoughts, thank You Lord. We stand strong in our faith in You Lord, and never if You want to abandon any of Your children. We can trust that, Amen in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.

    Stay strong in the Bible.

    1 Corintihans 8
