    Leviticus Chapter 8 continued...

    of the world, assenting to the eternal plan and covenant made between the members of the Godhead for the redemption of sinful humans. Jesus agreed to cloth his Deity with humanity to become the perfect sacrifice for atonement for sin, the perfect burnt offering for the mediation of the covenant between mankind and YHWH, and the perfect offering that consecrated all believers as priest unto God. All these sacrifices were done upon the cross of Christ.

    Moses took some of the blood of the consecrated ram and anointed Aaron and his sons with it, placing it on their right ear, right thumb, and big toe of their right foot.

    He took one loave from the basket of unleavened bread, and one cake, and one wafer and put them upon the fat on the right thigh of the sacrifice. Moses gave these breads to Aaron and his sons, placing them in their hands and they waved them as a wave offering before the Lord. Then Moses put them on the burnt offering where they were consumed. This most likely represents that the priests are to have clean, consecrated hands, refined by fire (so to speak). Perhaps placing the blood on the ear, thumb, and foot represents that the priests are to hear from God, serve God with their hands, and walk with God in a holy way.

    Moses took the breast of the ram and waved it before the Lord.

    To go back to prior to the sacrifices, Moses dressed Aaron in the high priest garments and his sons in priestly garments. Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, thus consecrating them to YHWH. He sprinkled oil on the altar seven times, and anointed all of its utensils, the laver and its base. He then poured anointing oil upon the head of Aaron to consecrate him...

    After the offerings/sacrifices, Moses washed Aaron and his sons with water from the laver anointed Aaron and his sons with oil and blood. He anointed the altar and the laver and all of the other furnishings with blood. He
