Bible Discussion Thread

Please pray for our friend Jeff. He had lung cancer and beat it. But cancer recurred in his bones. Chemo did not work this time and now spots have been found in his brain. He knows that chemo can't be used on brain cancer, so may try radiation. He is pretty much resolved that he doesn't have a lot of time left. My husband had lunch with him yesterday. Jeff and his family are leaving for Hawaii on Monday (somewhat of a last hurrah trip. So please pray that God will open doors for my husband to share the gospel with Jeff and not be timid about it. It is what God wants him to do and I pray that he will be obedient for Jeff's sake.

Thank you for your prayers. Jeff needs Jesus more than anything else. So we pray for his salvation to be realized soon.

Dear God, Father in heaven, You who created heaven and earth, and everything that lives on them. We thank You for Your witnesses, Lord, those who are out in all kinds of weather and seek to find those whom You have meant into Your house, Lord Jesus Christ. We pray in the holy name of Jesus Christ that ppl open their mouths. So that wisdom and truth come out to the man we lift up to You Lord today. In the holy name of Jesus Christ that saved people are led in Jeff's way and have their mouths opened. So that wisdom and truth from the Bible come out to Jeff so that he will be saved Lord and his heart wil be changed. Thank You in advance God Almighty for You are close in thought, word and deed, Amen. There is great joy in Heaven when a new person comes to faith, Amen. There will be joy on Earth also for the whole family and the family will be saved in the name of Jesus Christ, throw out the obscene disease that is ravaging Jeff's body Lord. Let Your word cleanse his body so that he will be completely cleansed and this obscene evil will never return in Your Holy Name Jesus Christ, Amen. You can do it after Your precious will Lord stretch out hand, we pray in Jesus holy name, Amen.
