    Hello Texsis.

Glad to hear from you again.

I am going through the book of Leviticus now, having studied Genesis and Exodus. I write my "take aways" from my readings. Writing this out helps me process what I read and I hope it may benefit others or prompt others to add more info to help me better understand the text.

OIC, I used to do the same & after yrs of study, feeling I wasn't getting anywhere & being confused w/so many laws & rules. I felt led to reread & study Paul's Apostles ( Acts 9-Philemons) first. For these are how God wants us to live today "in the now". No longer following old testament writings. I went from yrs of believing I knew Christ to mere weeks of truly Knowing Him & how we get truly saved & join Him in heaven some day.! No more stress, anger, resentment or being vengeful either.! Praise God, try it & get the peace God wants us to have that passes all understanding.!

Yes, Texsis, I have studied Paul's Epistles repeatedly along with the Gospels and Acts. Never get tired of reading those.

I have not studied the O.T. much. have read through it, but, since all Scripture points to Jesus and is instructive, I am enjoying going through from the "beginning".

I have had a long, long walk with the Lord over the years (turning 66 in a few months). I began reading the Bible for myself at age 9 being led to by the Holy Spirit. So 6 decades later, I have been very blessed in my journey with Jesus. Always something new to learn, to consider, to share.

Be blessed, Texsis. So good to have you back on the "board". I missed you. We never really know why some leave from here or just take a break or who simply are "readers' for a while. But I am always glad to see people return to posting and reconnect.

    Dear GiGi,

    This is me May.

    Hope all is well.

I was able to access my account this morning and submitted a reply for you about Andrew's comment, but I was wondering why my Username just came out "Anonymous". That is not my username. It should be Marimay. I am kind of sad about that. I don't want to think that I should delete my account if it keeps going on this way.

    Warm regards,

    May

    Hi May,

I hope you can get your account sorted out soon. It seems that you are not alone in this. Thank you for thinking of me. I am recovering from a minor surgery I had Friday. I had a nasal vascular tumor removed from my nostril. It will be biopsied, but there is a very low chance of cancer. It also is very rare for one of these tumors to occur in the nose. Most of the time they are on the skin or int he mouth. About 5% are in the nose and of these, most of them are in people who have nose piercings or snort drugs or both. I have never done either. So, kind of a rare thing for me. Just pray that it won't recur. It was about the size of a pea, so pretty small, locale anesthesia and just snip, snip, snip with the scissors and cauterized. So, really fast and painless. Glad I noticed it, as they can grow large enough to block the nasal canal.

May, how are you doing? I hope well. It is always good to hear from you.

    Hi GiGi,

Congratulations on a successful nasal surgery! God is so good! You are so blessed that our Mighty Lord has given you awareness of the lesion. I will pray for a total healing on your condition.

I will be right back my friend since I am going to work early today.

Take care ... God bless you always!

Thanks May, I look forward to hearing from you later. I pray that work goes well for you today.

    My dear sis GiGi,

    How are you doing today?

I pray all is well and the biopsy shall come out benign as we prayed for that good result.

As we are truly born-again Christians, we always hold on to the gift of hope, faith and love given by our Comforter, the Holy Spirit.

Each time I pray especially for my son, I also tried not to forget to include your sons in that prayer. I empathize with you on your worries concerning them. Muslim faith is believing in one God, but they do not believe that we are saved by Jesus dying on the cross for us, so that is where the problem lies. The other son's problem is the depression: I believe that the problem of depression is not only chemically based, but it is spiritual as well. I myself have overcome the mild symptom of depression by boosting prayer time and enriching my relationship with Jesus, therapeutic exercises, and following some kind of Mediterranean diet. I think you only have to spend more time to talk to your son.

You can reply to me my friend, as I am excused from work today.

    Warm regards,

    May

    Thank you Marimay,

I have appt. tomorrow with doctor to follow up on the surgery and biopsy. Thank you for praying for a good outcome.

Thank you for praying for my sons. I, too, pray for you and others and their children who have strayed (on this site). We can stand in the gap for our beloved children until they come to a full measure of faith in Jesus once again.

As my sons go through their thirties, they are spending more and more time with my hubby and I than they did in their twenties. So I am thankful for that and that God is repairing our relationships.

    Hi GiGi,

I hope you're all good. Please keep me posted.

Happy to know that your sons prefer spending more time with you and your hubby now. God is surely drawing them still closer to the Christian faith.

My son is in his early 20s, a technologically inclined and adorable young adult and has become a game savvy. I missed his being my sweet little boy who prayed with me before bedtime and rose up early with me as if there was an imaginary string that tied us together and pulls him to follow me wherever I go :)

Thank you for giving me hope that I can stand the gap for him until he comes to full measure of faith in Jesus. I know he is a good and very loving young adult.

You can reply to tome anytime convenient to you as I am still off today.

    God bless us all!

    Warm regards,

    Mary

    Hello Marimay,

Everything went well with the Doctor. My biopsy showed the tumor is benign and also a very rare type and in a space tat is even more rare for these to occur. Just kind of weird. The first one of these in the nostril that was recorded was in 1965 and since then only about 50 cases have been reported. So, 50 cases in 50 odd years is really rare and also hard to study (as far as from a medical standpoint.)

I am thankful it is removed and non-cancerous. It has a low recurrence rate. So, I hope that this chapter in my life story is closed.

    Hi GiGi,

As expected, God healed you. Praise the Lord Glory to God!

I just could not sleep tonight. I feel persecuted. I need to pray more. I know Jesus will never leave me. He always protects me.
  • GiGi - In Reply - 2 years ago
Dear Marymay. I am so sorry that your sleep was so restless. I will pray for you.

Dear Heavenly Father, come to Marymay's aid today and especially when she sleeps. fill her mind and heart and soul with the joy of knowing You and the satisfaction of Who You are and what You have done for her. Bring Your peace and solace to her as she sleeps. Today, bring her to You word to be uplifted and strengthened in her faith and walk with You. Instruct her in her prayer life and remind her to bring everything to You in prayer. Father, we ask these things of You in the name of Your Son, Jesus. Amen.

    Dear GiGi,

    Amen in Jesus Mighty Name

Thank you. You have prayed a complete prayer for me.

I needed that so much. I read others' comments too and prayed for them, but I only have time to reply to you.

I will pray for you and others tonight too.

Hi Marimay. I've been having the same problem with signing in - getting the 'Anonymous' name. After experimenting, I now open a new tab in Windows (an Incognito window, from the three vertical dots at the top right of your current window), open up the KJBO site & sign in. You should then get a box to fill in your name & password. Once that is done, your name should appear in your posts.

    Hi Chris,

Thank you for helping me with a cool solution to this problem.

It's so nice to meet you here and I'm so glad while reading your message.

    God bless

    Warm regards,

    May
