Dear Ruben. I am so happy to pray for you. So glad Your heart knows to return to the Lord, The Holy spirit is wooing you back to our wonderful God.
Dear Heavenly Father, Ruben has run the prodigal way from You. But You are a seeker of those that stray, not willing to lose even one of Your own. We ask today in the name of Jesus that You will gift Ruben with repentance and faith to once again rely on You and live for You. We ask that You assure Ruben that his sins are forgiven through the death and resurrection of Jesus. We ask that Your Spirit sanctify Ruben and graft him back into our Lord the True Vine that Ruben may thrive in faith and be productive in the fruit of Your Spirit. We pray that today will be the day that Ruben returns to You for good and never again looks down that prodigal road again. Keep Ruben in Your way of Life, in the fellowship of Christ, and grounded in the truth of Your Word. Deliver Ruben from all that is keeping him from receiving all that You are holding out to him today. Take away his doubts, excuses, dependencies, love for sin, fears, and reluctance to leave behind him his life of sin and refusal of You. Amen.
