been homeless in PDX metro area a long time. destitute. it's cold out. no family. no presents this christmas. been waiting on God. Jesus is Lord. it has been too long. need housing. need job. need protection while on streets, and from certain public officials who discriminate against indigent people. have been faithful, yet have so many needs. Jesus is Lord. have been attacked for sharing my faith. reading the psalms is the only source of hope i have. please pray.

How are you Derek? I'm just thinking about you and praying for you this morning.

Derek J, Wherever you are tonight I just want to wish you a merry Christmas. I'm thinking about you and praying for you right now. Please try to get to know people that way when they see how much you love Jesus they will want to help you. And yes, I was homeless for a year or two. What a traumatic stressful time that was. But I was living in a backslidden condition. God is merciful. I believe He will help you. You're not alone. Please Hang in there and keep the faith. Do your best to put God first in everything you do. Look for a Salvation Army or a Victory Outreach or Teen Challenge program, not just for teens? I'm not sure if they would take you in if you don't have a substance abuse problem, but they might. Are you in Ca?

Heavenly Father thank you for your son Jesus as well as your Love, Forgiveness & Grace. Lord I ask that you please be w/Derek especially at night when its super cold & the sun isn't out to help warm him. Let your son shine in him keeping him strong, lifting him up & giving him the strength & wisdom to endure. Find him better shelter to keep warm Lord & all the help he needs, oh & food. In Jesus precious name, Amen.! I feel for ya. I was homeless from Nov 2021-about a month ago. Though for a few months I was at a shelter. Do you have a shelter around you? As rough as it is please be strong. Do your best to ask EVERYONE: churches, a sign asking for a roof even if its a shed, government assisting type offices to apply for such. shelters may have a blanket or if there is any type of clothing place. With the Holidays things may not be open for a few days. Furniture places have things by dumpster too! I Pray it doesn't snow yet find a overlaying type bush by a river bed or building to sleep under, so even if it does, you'll be warm. Something to block the wind too. During the day look for things you'll need to help with a shelter like plastic bags, news paper, rocks or bricks not owned to hold things down, bottles w/lids to pee in, clothing laying around yet not on a clothes line & even dumpster dive, It all helps. Plus, fast food places, or any restaurant, through away food every night. Find one that has a smoker out back & ask them. You figure they have to have a heart keeping them alive cuz they sure don't have lungs...lol Yet if your a smoker it would be wise to save money (if have any form of income) to get what you need first (or pace yourself) then pick up the nasty habit again. If at all. Been there done that too :) With Jesus in your heart, Have a Safe warm Christmas & an even Happier New Year & keep in mind: all we need is Jesus for HE is the best gift you could ask for.! Ask around for jobs, even little pay. This time of year there is more need of help.! ok?

Derek, I'm calling your name out to the Lord right now.You are in my prayers tonight! The Lord is faithful.

Derek you are never alone brother . God has his eye on you . Don't let your circumstances erode your faith and love in and for your Saviour . I pray that God will bless you and provide for all of your daily needs abundantly . I pray that God will keep you safe and well and that His love and mercy will surround you and bring you through this tough time in your life . I pray that God will continue to strengthen and comfort you and keep you close to Himself . Through the name of Jesus Christ may God's will be done . Amen .

Dear God, we pray in your holy name Jesus Christ that You who have created everything and know about everything do not let Your people suffer in vain Lord! See to "Derek j" needs now Lord. It is cold in Israel too but the planet has other places where it is even colder Lord. Stretch out Your Hand so that he can have a warm room in the winter Lord? Thank You for comforting and strengthening Your servants Lord. You don't forget them. Thank You for answering prayers we thank You in advance and everything must be according too Your will, we submit to You Lord and ask to strengthened "Derek j" in spirit, soul and body and gives him everything he needs Lord.
