i know the majority of Christians dont believe in angel numbers and think thats it's crazy. and why is that? please explain without being harmful to my belief, in angel numbers.
Whenever we see anything being promoted in the world, we need to weigh it against Scripture. Simply because angel numbers are popular right now does not mean we should partake in it.
Angel numbers are part of numerology. Numerology goes directly against the Bible since numerology is trying to tell the future. God tells us not to be a part of fortune-telling as He says,
Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God ( Deuteronomy 18:10-13).
Numerology leads us away from God and toward the occult. If we want to grow closer to God, believing in numerology is not the way to go.
Even if others try to claim numerology accurately predicts the future or manipulates situations, we are to stay away from this practice. Instead, we need to turn to the Lord and trust Him with our future.
There is no methods to being in Christ. It's all Christ that works in you!!
You read about more activity of Angels in the old testament but even then the prophets was led by Christ spirit when they prophesied on Christ coming.
1 Peter 1:11-12. Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ WHICH WAS IN THEM did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
Here's what I found about Angel numbers and its contrast to Christianity.
Part 1.
Angel numbers have grown in popularity in recent years due to the resurgence of New Age practices. While angel numbers might sound as if they have something to do with the angels of the Bible, they do not. There is nothing biblical about angel numbers, as nowhere in the Bible are we told about the existence of angel numbers.
What Are Angel Numbers?
An example of an angel number is when multiple repetitions of numbers happen, such as 333, 222, or 111. According to those who believe in angel numbers, each angel number has a special and unique meaning. If you see multiple repetitions of the same set of numbers, this is "your angel number."
While this concept has grown in popularity, there is nothing biblical about this practice. Those who believe in angel numbers believe that once you see your angel number, you have found your angelic or spirit guide.
With one's spirit guide, the New Age teaches that the spirit or angelic guide will help the individual through any sort of trouble, whether emotional, spiritual, or physical. Spirit guides are also seen within the religion of Hinduism. Spirit guides or angelic guides are not biblical.
We are never told in the Bible that God gives us a "spirit guide" or an "angelic guide." Rather, we are told that at the moment of salvation, we are given the permanent indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one who guides, instructs, and helps us.
Jesus tells us, "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you" ( John 14:26). The Holy Spirit and God's Word is our guide - not some kind of spirit or angelic guide.
Thank you S. spencer, for this information. I have never heard of this topic before. Hoping Mara will turn away from such "New Age" beliefs to the truth of Jesus.
Thank you, Steven for your prayers. Still really weak and fatigued, coughing. But airways are much less reactive. I am getting better day by day. Thanking the Lord for His mercy to me.
Peace to you. Respectful comments within a dialogue, whether they agree or not, shouldn't be considered as harmful, unless one has predetermined they will be. I hadn't heard of angel numbers until I just now looked it up.
It seems the intention of your purpose is harmless: seeking the positive along with justice, valuing tradition and family, following rules, proving oneself loyal, being intelligent and loving to learn and develop. I'm open to listening to the thought systems and opinions of others, but choosing my guide based on numbers to lead me down my path is not sounding like it's for me. Yet, most Christians share many, if not all these values and goals. I'm sure the world would seem a more peaceful place if everyone chose these goals, whatever their means. So, I say, God bless for your harmlessness towards others.
I suppose it seems "crazy" to Christians, because they have chosen to put their faith in Jesus Christ, instead of a numbering system. From my experience, the majority are not changing their mind regarding this; they are not leaving their first Love. I suggest what I would for all: ask and continue to ask for truth, peace and understanding. Pursue complete harmlessness and forgiveness. Love your neighbor as yourself, while praying for perceived enemies to become friends.
You are asking for us to "please explain without being harmful to my belief, in angel numbers," but how are we to do that without knowing what you actually believe?
Can you tell exactly what you believe about "angel numbers" and perhaps also tell us who God is to you, who Jesus is to you, and who the Holy Spirit is to you?
I think that might gives us a better idea on how to respond to your question.
I started seeing 44 at age 12, before even realizing what angel numbers even were. I didn't know until I searched "why do I keep seeing the same number over and over". Seeing 444 didn't come til later, so I didn't mark it as seeing an angel number as of then.
However, I didn't know what angel numbers were or even believed it at first. That was until, I started seeing signs of things that questioned my belief in the topic. Such as, seeing cardinal birds, seeing a cloud that looked of as a hand, looking at time randomly to see 4:44, which all happened at 4:44.
As of what I know now, I see it as a sign. Maybe not involving god, or any biblical topics. But just as a sign. And no I don't believe the meanings in google of what 444 means.
Lastly, the one true thing that made me question it was my mother showing me a picture of me in the womb. Which had the time of 4:44 in which the time were the picture was taken. I can show the picture to you, but i don't know how or even if you wanna see it.
Let's assume you are right about that number 444. Question. So what is the purpose of that number? A sign for what? What do you think it may mean to you, to your life? Is it a kind of a "protection" number, an amulet, a magic number that you may recall when needed? What is it for? Because if it is for nothing, then obviously it is not of any use, is it? It is a number just like any other, one more than 443, one less than 445.
But let's leave nos for now and see what God did for mankind. God left His throne, became like one of us, a poor man, was born in a manger, got mocked at, was humiliated, was beaten, and finally was led to a horrible death on a cross, like the worst criminal, as a lamb for slaughtering. And He did that to save us, you and me, from eternal death. And not only that but He also became our Father and we have become His children. And He has prepared a marvelous place for us to live with Him happily for ever. So my question to you is. What kind of no. or any other thing in this world can be compared or take the place of that Person(God)? What any combination of nos can have any more importance than God's own sacrifice? What else on earth or heaven (anything one may think of) can stand infront of our adoption by The Almighty God? God that made the vast universe, billions and billions of stars and galaxies, with just His Word, became our FATHER, a real father. Can any no. be compared to that person we call God? Didn't God create numbers? Isn't that what the pagan nations were doing in ancient times? They worshiped the creation instead of the Creator? Let's be serious. If you are not a child of God then ask Jesus to come into your heart. Become God's child. Follow Him till the end, and a blessed life awaits for you in the future. And there will be a time that you will see God Himself with your own eyes and speak to Him mouth to mouth.
Something more. Any fake faith that is not based on real things always collapses sometime.
Hello Mara, my suggestion to you is to give up this interest in angel numbers and rely instead on God's word and the teaching of the Holy Spirit. Numbers cannot affect you nor your life. They are only abstract ideas really. And angels will not work on your behalf due to numbers, but only according the true will of God for them and you. So, look to Jesus always, not to angels, nor numbers. The Scriptures are pretty clear about not resorting to such things as brother spencer pointed out. Looking to numbers for hidden meaning or influence on your life is participating in superstition, which is considered sorcery. Prohibited by Scripture.
It is ok to smile whenever the number 4 or 44 or 444 comes up in your life. It is a coincidence. Just say to yourself, God is my only true and righteous influence on my life. I will lean on Him and not on this number.
As Sammi has said it is not Biblical. I know what angel numbers are, your sign in, your name and 444 the 444 is an angel number. There is a lot of things on the earth, and many do not believe they exist today because they have never encountered them but, are these things real? Yes. The Bible is where you can find your answer.
With love, when we search for the truth what are we willing to do if we find it? I hope this answer helps.
Not sure what angel numbers actually are , sorry . I'm guessing that most Christians don't believe in them / it ,because they / it is not in the Bible . Christians tend to just believe what's in the Bible . Hope you understand that and are not offended .

I just done a brief research on it.
