I'm so tired of the governmental puppets show? I hope for talk about the lack of action ever done for DARPA, our govt lack of concern for direct democracy and the dictators who pay to run our military industrial complex (an $890 billion industry)
We can continue to pray for those in governmental office at all levels. The U.S.A. is not a "direct democracy". It is a "representative republic". Rather than have everyone vote on every matter and have majority win out (direct democracy), we elect those who will represent us in the executive and legislative branches of our government. The federal judicial branch is by appointment, but state judicial positions are elected. So, we can always take advantage of the right to petition our representatives in congress, both the Senate and House, and voice our views and concerns at both the state and federal level.
Yes, there is a lot of bureaucracy that goes along with this type of government, but it is better than any other type of government so far in history. U.S. citizens have civil rights protections far beyond any other country in existence today. We have freedom that are recognized as coming from God, not by men that are upheld by our constitution. This is a very blessed country. We should pray often for God's preserving mercy and wise guidance in all affairs by our government and its citizens. The U.S.A. has strayed quite far from the principles that helped to make it a great and powerful nation that benefits its citizens and the world. May we humble ourselves across our nation and seek the Lord, that our land may be healed, strengthened, and blessed by God.
