The resurrection the last day? ( John 6:39-40,44) And this is the Fathers will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should (raise it up again at the last day). v.40 Tells us that everyone that sees Jesus and believes on Him, He will (raise him up at the last day) When is the last day? ( John 11:24-26) Martha saith unto him, I know that (he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day). (25) Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth on me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.: (26) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? ((So the resurrection IS the last day)). The word (resurrection) is #386; it means a standing up again, a resurrection from death, raised to life again, rise from the dead. ( John 5:28-29) Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall ((hear his voice)), (29) And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (All that are in the graves shall ((hear His voice)) and come forth, this happens at the resurrection the last day) ( 1 Cor 15:42-44) So also is the resurrection of the dead, It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: (43) Tells us it is raised in ((glory)) and also raised in ((power)) Jesus comes back in the clouds in ( Mt 24:29-31) with power and great glory to gather together His ELECT, that would be the last day. ( Col 3:4) When He appears we appear with Him in ((glory)) Then we look at ( 1Cor 15:51-55) We are all changed at the last trump, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible. The word (last) is #2078; it means farthest, final, (of place or time) ends of, latter end. (That does not sound like its (before) the tribulation does it?) ( 1Thessalonians 4:15-17) The Lord descends with a shout, and the dead in Christ rise first, this is the last day, the resurrection.

    Jimbob,

Thanks for sharing those Scriptures that actually definitively say that believers are resurrected/or transformed on the last day when Jesus returns to finalize history and judge all people.

    Amen Gigi.

(The Resurrection) is on the Last Day.

    God bless.

Hello S Spencer Do you see how all the scriptures in this post are connected together? If the resurrection is the last day, then that's the return of Jesus Christ in the clouds to gather together His elect. ( 1 Cor 15:51-55) and ( 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17) and ( Mt 24:29-31) and ( John 11:24-26) Do you see they are all the same event? They all happen after the tribulation, which will be at the last trump when we are all changed. He changes our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body. ( Philippians 3:20-21)

    Hi Jimbob.

I'm sorry but I didn't read the original post. And only the first sentence of this reply. "Hello S Spencer Do you see how all the scriptures in this post are connected together?"

That's the honest truth!! That's all I'm reading.

The only lengthy topic I'm willing to engage in is SALVATION.

I will engage with one asking questions on eschatology but not stay there when there is a far more important issue at hand.

Jesus commissioned us to take the Gospel to the world!!

Eschatology tells us who and when he's gathering those he purchased.

If I refuse to preach the Gospel and prefer to discuss eschatology that's like trying to aboard a plane with out a purchased ticket.

One can take your view or mine but yet refuse the one who shed his blood on the cross, all our teaching eschatology is in vain.

But if one accepts the Gospel through our preaching the cross it doesn't matter what eschatology view he holds.

He's on the plane with ticket in hand waiting on takeoff.

    God bless.

    Brother Spencer,

You are doing the right thing by disconnecting yourself from one who continues to harass and badger those who do not agree with their understanding. Up until about one month ago, this used to be a place to come and have friendly discussion. Is it okay to disagree with others? Yes! Is it okay to discuss our disagreements? Yes! There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a friendly debate or discussion when we disagree on something in scripture. Sometimes those debates can go on for a while, and that's perfectly fine. Sometimes lengthy debates can be fruitful. However, once a discussion ends, and a person chooses to continue tearing down those who believe differently than they do, even after the discussion ends in disagreement, and after one side chooses to no longer dialog in such discussion, how is that beneficial? And how does that help to edify or build one another up? It doesn't!

Brother, as I have mentioned to you, you are doing the right thing. Proverbs 20:3 says that "It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling." Not all arguments are worth having. A wise person knows when to disengage from such. Staying away from petty squabbles (Which you have chosen to do) is a wise and honorable thing. But in contrast to this, those who continue to be argumentative, those who choose to continuously tear down others who disagree with them, they are clearly fools.

    God Bless!!!

S Spencer I really don't care if you read this reply or not with your attitude being as it is! You keep saying "Honestly" Were you being honest replying to GiGi as if you read the post and were agreeing with her? Or would you call that being dishonest, or just deceptive? And I'm sure there are many other words that could be used here. The Truth will make you free Spencer! You can get mad at me if you want to for showing the Truth, I am only sharing TRUTH on the site to help others from being deceived by false teachings such as the pre-tribulation rapture theory! You seem to think it doesn't matter if one believes that pre-tribulation rapture theory or not. ((It is a theory, and I have proved that using Scripture, whether you have read the posts or not)) Would it matter to you if the antichrist comes first disguised as Christ? ( 2 Thessalonians 2:4) tells us he sits in the temple of God, shewing himself ((that he is God)). (Could that be deceptive to those thinking Jesus comes to take them away first?) ( 2 Cor 11:13-15) v14 tells us "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. The word (transformed) is #3345; it means to transfigure or disguise. So Satan himself will come ((disguised)) as an angel of light. Or he will come disguised AS JESUS CHRIST!! Shewing himself that he is God. So those who are expecting a rapture BEFORE the tribulation WILL BE DECEIVED by him. ( Mt 24:4-5) Many will come in the last days saying they are Christian and deceive many. We are living the last days now Spencer where is that deception right now? ( 2 Thessalonians 2:3) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, EXCEPT THERE COME A FALLING AWAY FIRST, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. The word (falling) is #646; it means defection from truth, apostasy, forsake, something separative, divorce, (writing of) divorcement. This is True Believers in Jesus who fall away Spencer, could it be pre-trib that causes it? I say YES!
