Cheryl good question....But Abraham himself was a syrian Duet 26:5 and he became the father of the nation of Israel....God always had the Gentiles in mind....Jesus said there were many lepers in Israel at the time of Elijah the Prophet but unto none of them was Elijah sent but unto Naaman a syrian....And Jesus ministered to the woman at the well a samaritan....Telling her the gift of God was he himself....A well of water that wd neva go dry....Springing up unto everlasting life....Which is the H.G. the gift of God to anybody....They shall all be taught of God under this NEW covenant....
