God was man before he was God such is proven by Adams creation.

In the beginning the scriptures says God said let us create a man in our own image.

Meaning the image of man existed way long before human beings were created by God.

Which proves that before he was God he was man

Before he was a spirit he was a word.

Through our flesh we contain the image of the spirit of God.

We were made through the image, We did not create the image for it was already there.

When we come to the New testament of Jesus Christ, the book of Hebrews say's Oho God your kingdom shall rule and reign above all and forever.

Adam was given a creation to rule in a form of a garden and little did that creation consist of human beings only Eve was there.

But Jesus Christ was given mankind to rule over and god creation to recreate it in his image.

Let all Angels of heaven worship him, but before him all Angels worshipped God alone.

Jesus Christ said it that I chose to live and suffer like a man and not a God, which proves that the first image above all images is the image of man.

Through man you can see God not through God you can see man.

I hope you all stay blessed

Faith is not knowing or understanding God.

Faith is to carry God in you

    Faith is to create

    Faith is to inform

    Faith is to teach

    Faith is to provide

He carried God to the cross to restore our relationship and authority to God

He created a space for forgiveness

    He informed people of sin

He taught the word of God

He provided by only 2 laofes and 1 fish.

    That's faith

    Blessings 0817880641,

You have some interesting thoughts. Nevertheless, I agree with GiGi and Adam in the fact the Bible truly states God is not a man and that He is Spirit.

It also states that Spirit gives birth to spirit and flesh to flesh; which actually leaves me wondering - how is it possible then that God Who is Spirit which in the New Testament is truly stated as Spirit being INcapable of producing flesh, while in the Genesis account thousands of years earlier a clear impression of God creating bodies, i.e. flesh and bones, is portrayed.

Thus, I think I perceive your line of thinking in that it must be if God created man in His Own image, and while realizing man appears to be made of flesh and bones, God must be man.

It is very possible I'm misunderstanding you, and apologize ahead of time.

The reason I find your comments interesting is because I would agree with you ( I think) and the New Testament that man produces man and Spirit creates Spirit. Yet I believe a more logical option would be that if God is Spirit, and gives birth to spirit, then our reality is Spirit, not bodies.

How could a perfect God create an imperfect body, being destructible and thus not of His Kingdom? The body is a symbol of what we think we are. It is clearly a separation device. God is One and incapable of division and separation.

    Out of time.

    God Is

    Peace

Surely I still stand by my word He was a Man before He was God.

In the beginning of all creation nothing was Incapable everything was perfect the Bible book of genesis says so, But in all that beautiful creation and perfect world that of it bared the Image of God, Hence in the first 5 day's of creation you haven't heard of the word or specie called a Man, Till He uttered let us create a Man In our own image and likeness, Let us create a Man in our own image and likeness, What does this tell you? The Term Man is a God given identity to our flesh and bones, Hence all his creation was named by a Man called Adam whom He himself was given a name after being named Man He was known as Adam. Jesus said I was there in the beginning as man living inside the spirit called God. Then we go to the book of Daniel, The fire was 7 Times hotter but the King didn't see a God or a spirit He saw the fourth Man in the fire, Who he is who who was and who who shall become.

The spirit takes a form of flesh to live in this world, that's why flesh will forever give birth to flesh so that the spirit may continue to give birth to the spirit, for two exist together as one on earth, Jesus spoke of this spiritual Unity, where the life of the spirit overpowers the life of your flesh and those are those we call born again, Christ likeness..

    God bless you

It is quite a fascinating life being in the spirit

    oops, I meant Hosea 11:9

    Hello 08770641,

Hosea 11:18 says: "I am God not a man"

God is eternally unchanging, so He was never a man that became a god.

What God meant through the prophet is that He is not Flesh and bones that he might change and again too prove that God is a man or should I say the spirit of Man that Lives inside flesh and bones.

Animal's still don't talk till today, because there's no man living inside them.

The Term Man in my statement doesn't limit God to being flesh but solely supreme Spirit to flesh, for flesh is dust and clay and when dust and clay grows weary it returns to the soil but the Man inside you returns to its creator. Let us debate this from this point

That first sentence is untrue. God is a spirit, not a man. John 4:24. He later created man. Just because man is made in His image doesn't mean He's a man Himself. That would be a false assumption and there's no verses indicating that.

Flesh and bones are not the image of God but a creation of God, a shelter for his spirit the reason he constantly repeats and reminds us that his not Man, Is because he cannot be his own creation in form of flesh.

Adam when he was formed He never came alive, the Bible says he was lying lifeless and the spirit was blown inside then Adam came alive and carried the image of God inside him, the wisdom of Man which is God himself living as man inside flesh. There's was no school of thoughts for Adam, but still entrusted with a garden and it's naming for all species. God was a spirit of Man which formed flesh to dwell in it. The flesh can't be the image of God it's just a creation created for the Man Who was and still is God

I would have to humbly disagree with this. Just because God said let us make man in our image in no way proves that He was man before He was God. Jesus was in the beginning and He came as a man. God put Himself into flesh in His own image. God had it all planned. God created us after Himself. God was not created. Man is the image of God, which in turn through looking at man, it points to God. Maybe it's just how you said it or semantics, but I think you came to the right conclusion without the right work to get there.

Sorry my pastor but you rushed my statement before allowing the revelation to reveal itself.

As you say let us make a Man in our own image

Let us make a man in our own image

Your flesh and bones cannot be the image of God

Your flesh and bones get's sick

Image of God doesn't get sick

Your flesh and bones grows weary

    God doesn't grow weary

    Your flesh and bones dies

    God doesn't die

Ezekiel Ezekiel Can this bones live again

Ezekiel Ezekiel Can this bones live again

This statement takes me back to creation when Adam was just lying lifeless body before God blew the spirit of Man which is God himself inside him.

Even after Ezekiel commanded the bones to come together did they have life? No

No he had to command the spirit of Man to come forth and give this lifeless bodies life.

The image of God is the Man inside you.

Remember Moses when he said I want to see you God face to face, He said no Man no flesh can see me and live again.

For you will never ever ever see the spirit inside you and Live again for you would have seen the image you were made in by God which is the image of Man that inside you

    Hello

You are right. "flesh and bones cannot be the image of God".

    JESUS said: Luke 20:35-36

35 - They which shall be accounted WORTHY to obtain that world(next world-Kingdom of GOD- Revelation 11:15-18.Take a look.)- , and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of GOD( John 1:14), being the children of the resurrection.

By the way, only and only JESUS was n ot born of the sin, was not of the Devil( John 8:44 & 46. Take a look.)

Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of GOD - John 3:3.
