    Body As A Measurement

The body of Jesus Christ was prepared before the worlds began. "For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. / And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. (Col.2: 9-10)" This single standard fullness of God is same as fullness of the Son. This is the measurement with which the holy city of God shall be measured. (Re.21: 17). It is that of an angel which refers to the Spirit of Christ. Every body that puts the righteousness is a spiritual body that speaks for man.

"For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens./ For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven"(2 Co.5:1-2) This is the invisible envelope of a spiritual body.

" If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked./ For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life./ Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit."(2 Co.5:3-5)

Whoever abides in him puts on Christ, whose position never changes. We abiding in him bear fruits. So spiritual body serves as an envelope. The indwelling Spirit is like an in-house tutor strengthening our spiritual lives. Our soul or inner man is consequently strengthened. (Ep.3:16-19)
