In the Acts of the Apostles we have an incident where St Peter raised the dead woman. (Ac.9:37-41)The Spirit is particular to state he did so in the upper room. It is a space or the face, so heaven acts in tandem with the earth. Jesus had promised his disciples, "Whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."(Matt.18:18). All the promises of God in him are yea and Amen..
The Spirit uses the face as a tag. Upper room serves as the face to which the Spirit introduces the creation account thus, 'The Spirit of God moved upon the face of waters."
We have several instances:
In the Lucan gospel we have a physical space earmarked where Jesus shared his last supper. "Then you shall say to the master of the house, 'The Teacher says to you, "Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?" '/Then he will show you a large, furnished upper room; there make ready.""( Luke 22:7-NKJV).
Later as commanded by the risen Christ the eleven disciples gathered together in an upper room in Jerusalem to choose a replacement for Judas who betrayed Jesus. They were there to keep the number twelve intact. It provided the command number 12 the doctrine of Christ, which established the spiritual credentials of the nascent church. The promise to them was,"if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven./ For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."(Matt.18-19-20-NKJV)
