    Part III (6 of 7

12:11 " And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." This is as direct as the verse, In the beginning God created.."(Ge.1:1) As instruction in righteousness the Spirit is not looking for continuity but reconciling the world of the Spirit and the world of the body and for example the v.11 is apt. The Spirit gives us the list of martyrs from Abel cited by Jesus (Matt.23:35) and all those who would be consumed by the virulence of false gospel preached the anti-christ. These are to occur yet in future but the Spirit assures that it as realities in the light of the living God. This shall explain the key verse,

"The remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

God rejected the nation of Israel as they rejected his Son. Yet a remnant of the woman's seed shall realize that Jesus Christ is indeed the Messiah their forefathers looked for. "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him."(Re.1:7). The Spirit considers their repentance and forgets their past sins just as He forgave our former lives and as though they were born again and set in heavenly places. It is thus the left out church shall be deemed as righteous having kept His commandments and has the testimony of Jesus Christ. The sealing of 144,000 in Re.7 explains their redemption. "And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel."(Re.7:4)

Re.7:4-10 We have reference to the great tribulation and they have been found to be righteous, "These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."(v.14)
