Ze.3:8-10 (2 of 2)

In vv.9-10 Zechariah is given a vision where iniquity of the land shall be removed in one day. It is in the Now of divine Will. "Now is the day of salvation.'

The foundation for the latter temple is laid in heaven. The stone is cut and polished and seven facets of it carrying a name that is personal. "and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receivethit."(Re.2:17)

9For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua: upon one stone shall be seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave the engraving thereof,' saith theLordof hosts, 'and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day./In that day,' saith theLordof hosts, 'shall ye call every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.'

"Then they that feared theLordspake often one to another: and theLordhearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared theLord, and that thought upon his name./And they shall be mine, saith theLordof hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not." (Mal.3:16-18)
