Bible Discussion Thread

Dear people,

I have been struggling for quite a while with this inner dialogue, that seems not my own and tries to override my own logic even when confronting myself with discernment and truth. I'm also being tormented daily in my sleep wether it being manipulated dreams, visions, night mares or sleep paralysis, although I pray every day for protection against it. I could be doing something wrong in prayer. Also I am healing very slow in comparison to some years ago, while I didn't take any of those mRNA vaccines, it seems my health isn't improving much. All in all I am still grateful for what our Heavenly Father gave me, but I feel like my prayers are not being answered and need some help, while I am heading towards a pivot point in my life, where sometimes I feel I could be losing the battle. If you have time, please ask our Heavenly Father to purify me from all unclean spirits and protect me from any future attacks, so that I can start the work (again) that our God the Father has set out for me to do.

I'm doing alright, it came back some time ago, but I stayed in the power of our Creator and it is subsiding every day. Also he shown me the path I need to take and what work for me is waiting, so focussing on that is my next priority.

Heavenly Father, I plea for Your mercy and grace in protecting Ronald. Heal his body, soul, and mind. Father God block the negative disturbing thoughts, visions, nightmares and dreams that causes him to lose sleep. Everything and anything may You, Father God, bring it to a halt and replace it with peace. Ronald wants to go back to work that You have for him to do. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Ronald, ask Father God, if there is something(s) in your house that is/are displeasing Him. Without you knowing maybe books, movies, musicthat displease Him. A few years ago I threw out all the music (it was nice music nothing like hard rock) because God told me that I should be listening only Christian music. I am not telling you what to do just suggesting. Do you have an audio Bible that you can play throughout the day and night? I listen to sermons, that help me go to sleep. I listen to them over and over again. God bless you Ronald and keep us updated. Love you

Hi Riemmers, I visited your beautiful country some years ago. The people are very nice. I went to the Corrie Ten Museum. It was beautiful. I will continually have you in my prayers.

Thank you for your prayers, I really appreciate all the kind responses on here.

Also I will ask our Father to let me know, what needs to go, like you mentioned, books, music and other material things. This makes sense.

The idea of an audiobook is also good to have, so I will search for it.

In regards to the Corrie ten Boom museum, I've never been there, but according to their site it looks like a interesting museum to visit, since it is also a living memorial to the family who lived as Christians.

Patience Dear Ronald , wait for the Lord . Maybe you are supposed to be quiet and still at the moment . Don't be afraid of the dreams etc , I went through a similar thing many years ago , disturbing dreams and sleep paralysis , very scarry . All I did was say the Lord's prayer over and over in my mind , it calmed me and I was soon ok. Think about what you are eating and drinking before bed , taking any meds etc . What ever else you do , don't doubt your Heavenly Father and His love for you . He sees you , all day every day He is right there with you . I find I don't sleep at all well if I don't read my Bible just before bed . When I was struggling with the dreams etc , I slept with a small Bible under my pillow , I'm sure that helped me a lot . Relaxation is the key , don't fear anything , you belong to the Great and Only God Almighty , you are His child and He is watching over you . Try to relax and put yourself entirely in His hands . Thank Him every day and say 'Thy will be done ' and mean it when you say it , give yourself over to Him . He won't desert you for a second . Wait for Him , He will put you where you are supposed to be . Do not be afraid .

I am so sorry that you are having such troubles in your thoughts and sleep. Have you talked with your doctor about this? There could be some disfunction going on in your brain in a physical way.

Also, have you spoken to your pastor and/or elders to pray for you? I would suggest this.

Dear Heavenly Father, today, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You will heal Ronald in the areas of unwelcome thoughts that are hindering him and also multiple sleep problems that are bothering him, robbing him of sleep and leaving him feeling attacked and unsettled. Father, remove whatever is bringing these things to Ronald, for you are stronger than any illness, disorder, power or principality that can cause these things. You are sovereign over all of these things and we believe that You will help Ronald and bring to Him soundness of mind, purity of thoughts, and restful sleep. Bring Him dreams that honor You and promote spiritual growth. Engage Ronald in healthy thinking and prayer with You as His guide and teacher. Demolish all the wiles of the enemy and bring Ronald peace today and every night and day hereafter. Amen.

Also the internal dialogue seems to be almost totally gone and I feel I regained a part of myself again.

I also didn't had any sleep paralysis, negative dreams or nightmares.

My body also felt like something had let go and got relieved.
