Ge.2:24 "They shall be one flesh"

One flesh refers to the glory of the Word. It is in this sense we have this verse," All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men"(1 Co.15:39). The rib which as fashioned by or tailor-made by God for Adam is the doctrine of Christ. Jesus explained what he means by it."My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself."( John 7:16-19)

From the manner Adam responded to declaim," This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh" he knew well the glory of the word made both bone and flesh a perfect fit. "Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace."(He.13:9). As a double for the Son his life henceforth was to do his will, which as we shall soon come to the simple question he had to answer, "Obey the commandment of God or not? Where did the strange doctrine come from? The serpent was merely a decoy. In the world of the flesh he was an entity and the strange doctrine was supplied to him by Satan

It is thus we need ask ourselves: are we fully living under grace or are we carried about by diverse and strange doctrines?
