    7) 1 corinthians 1:18

in his days pahraoh-nechoh, king of egypt went up against the king of assyria.....

    - pharaoh necho of egypt went up to the euphrates river to help the king of assyria...

    (again a totally different scenario)

    acts 8:37

....i believe jesus christ is the son of god.

    - omitted completely

(there are many more more. i don't know which niv version i am using on my computor with bible gateway, as there has been 3 versions so far of this book. it seems to them the holy ghost can't quite make up his mind exactly what he wants to say so he has to keep coming back to fix it. actually, i believe that it has to be changed every so often in order for them to keep their copywrite so they can sell it. i'm not sure what version this is and what changes they made but it really is a mute point, they are all wrong.)

god bless you all who understand the wrong of modern versions of these books.:)

You are doing a great job of showing the corrupt versions.

Yes as we both know the Holy Ghost doesn't make mistakes!

God Bless you for defending the True Words of God!

Mr. long saw his hard, long struggle to have it published as the devil coming against this endeavor but satan was dancing in his shoes. he loved it. mr long didnt see that it was actually god trying to stop him, just like he told the children of israel to stop ignoring him as they went into apostacy. another way the devil has accomplished this is to tempt people into being so busy with life that they run out of time, energy and a desire to spend time in actual study. the church needs to get back to a love of the bible just like the man in psalm 1 where he studied his bible everyday with delight. also, there are so many versions out there, that new christians are asking men (not god) to tell them which bible they should read and study. the internet is swamped with videos of people asking which bible they should use, trusting perfect strangers to guide them in their choice. this explains why so many christians, according to surveys done, don't even believe the bible is inspired by god anymore. i'd like to find a church that uses the kjb only, worships on the sabbath, teaches true bibical doctrine and isn't affiliated with a denomination. hopefully, as the end times draw near, all of god's true church will be set apart and maybe even be persecuted for doing those very things.

i've done a brief study of the nkjv and niv modern versions as to what they have printed and what is in the kjb. i realize i am preaching to the chior, but i thought it would be interesting.

The kjb has been accepted and handed down for centuries as the trusted, holy ghost inspired word of god; god's bible. there are over 200 modern versions (not translations) of the bible in english today. the authors of the modern bible versions such as niv, nkjb, asv, esv, etc. have flooded the market with "their" versions of god's word. why are all these versions out there? the devil knew he couldn't get christians to stop being true to god's word by a frontal attack so he slipped in by the backdoor. just like in the story of baalam and the children of israel in the book of numbers. the devil is very devious. these new versions have been said, by the publishers, that they are the same as the ancient text just in a more manageable format without ancient words, grammar and spelling, but you will see in the few comparisons i have listed below that is far from the truth.

    first a brief history lesson.

in the early 1950's a man named howard long was a christian businessman who would witness to his customers often, with no hesitation, but unfortunately his pride was stronger in him then humility and it not only led to his fall, but also the corrupted version of god's word in the niv. mr long was embarrased when one of his customers, instead of responding to the gospel as he was use to, laughed himself silly at the "ancient" language of the kjb. unfortunately, instead of defending the word of god, mr. long was embarrased and there after was determined to put the kjb in modern language "so it sounded more morden and people could understand it better." it seemed mr. long didn't go to god and seek guidance but instead he went to the honored authorities of his day and told them what he wanted to do. they resisted for many years until mr. long was successfully able to convince them that what he wanted was of god therefore by 1975 the niv was published.

What an amazing study and I'm going to follow your example and do a study of the KJV bible this way. I do love the KJV, it is the only version I have ever used because when I gave my heart to the Lord in 1971 it was the only one in the churches. So when the KJV started to be replaced by "modern" versions I was truly sadden as other versions started taking it's place and now it is hard to find one anywhere in churches among the congregations and the pastors. I have done a comparison of some of the other versions and when I used information from videos of comparisons being done, I always verified what they were saying by going to the other version to be sure it really said what they claimed. Sometimes they were actually wrong, but most of the time they were right that the other version's translation DOES change doctrine, etc. God Bless You

Momsage thank you for your kind words and for your comment. Its good to have another KJB believer on this site, you are very much welcomed here. It is really sad that so many people including pastors are using modern version bibles today, that is a prophecy being fulfilled ( 2 Tim 4:3-4) v3 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;"

v4 says "And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables". They turn from the truth?

( John 17:17) "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth". They turn from the True Word of God, the KJB!

( Ps 119:89) "For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven".

That means the Word of God will never change! Yet every modern version bible does (change) the words.

There's a site that you might really like, it shows patterns that only God could have been in control of in translating the KJB, and the KJB ONLY.

Search (Truth is Christ) on youtube and watch some of the videos, it proves the KJB is the True Inspired Word of God.

This will be a really good tool for you to use in Bible study if you want to compare Bibles, it called (Bible Hub).

I do look forward to seeing you post some of your future Bible studies on the KJB.

God Bless You and all who seek His Truth.

PS: I forgot to tell you that I do use Bible Hub, in fact, I used it when I did my comparison studies. When the commentator, for example, compared a verse in the KJB and the NIV I would go to Bible Hub to be sure it actually said what the commentator said. They were right 95% of the time but there were a few times that they were incorrect. Bye again Ann
  • Momsage - In Reply - 1 year ago
Sorry to be such a pest but I do want to clarify what I said in my P S reply. When I said ".........there were a few times they were incorrect" I meant only when they were quoating modern versions not the KJB which is, of course, God's true word. Have a good day in the Lord.

Just a quick hello. Yes, what an incredible blessing we have to be under the wings of God and we have His word to study to keep our mind on Him. Ill get back with you in a bit. You dont need to answer every reply unless you want to. God Bless You

Thank you so much for your warm welcome. I will reply soon with my studies. The verses you listed do tell the prophecy of this happening and I have a thought of why the world is so taken with these new versions. It isn't so much they can't understand the KJB, as they are to lazy to study for themselves, as God admonishes us to do. They would rather make excuses and let man do it for them. It's silly, also, since the KJB was written on an 8th or 9th grade level, that they "can't read it or understand it." I believe since the devil couldn't tempt most Christians to not read their bible he introduced these modern versions to do it this way and it is very successful. Also, people on YouTube are asking the YouTuber what version they should use, some even saying all the different versions are confusing to them and making it hard for them to choose, so they go to man, to help them deside instead of asking God.

Would you mind telling me your testimony in becoming a Christian? I am very interested.

Now on to study. I'll talk to you later. Have a blessed day. Ann

    Hi jimbob:)

no worries - answer when you can as will i. your testimony was a blessing to me and it is such a wonderful testimony of your mother-in-law being a witness to you every day and that it touched your heart in to giving your life to christ. it is true we never know who might be there for the lord to use to show us the way. i was raised a catholic so i never hear about the saving grace of christ let alone even imagined it to be true when i was growing up. i did believe in the true god and trinity, etc. but that was all and i was taught god was a stern old man, up in heaven out of reach except through rituals and traditions. i was also not allowed to speak the name of jesus at all unless directed to in prayer led by a nun or priest. this was back in the fifties and sixties so i know it is a lot different today. when i moved out on my own at 18 i left the catholic church. a few years later i met my husband, tim. my mother-in-law was also a christian and tried to witness to us but we lived several hours away so we didn't see her very often. god knew that tim knew better because he had given his heart to the lord a couple of years earlier but tim wasn't following god when i met him. anyway, in our second year of marriage a man tim worked with began to witness to him and tim told me about it and so this man's wife started to witness to me and i was thrilled because, like i said, i had never even imagined that type of a personal relationship with god, with jesus. tim renewed his relationship with the lord and jesus saved me on the same night. i'm a widow now. tim passed away a couple of years ago, but god has always seen me through. praise him!

i do have a scripture comparison between the kjb and niv but i'll have to do it in my next reply because i'm running out of room in this one. bye god bless you
