I had to open a new thread but I thought I would share my opinion. I am not sure whether how far off I am, it might lead you to another idea but when I think of Jesus "cometh with clouds" I imagine of how cavalry when approaching they kick up dust and how from far off looks like a dust storm. I am not quite sure though as my understanding is very limited, sorry.
That's a nice visual: the calvary (angels) coming and kicking up dust. The Jewish historian, Josephus, who lived in the first century, wrote about people seeing angels and chariots in the Jerusalem sky in the years just prior to the Roman destruction.

My hunch is you are spot on that the clouds represent the heavenly host of angels. Why would Jesus come alone? He is a great King and his angels would want to come with him for this momentous and wonderful occasion.

That was the verse I was referring to.
That's another great verse. I wonder if anyone has ever counted all the names of God. He is the Truth in this crazy, messed up world. He is Faithful in his promises to us. I can't wait to see him on the white horse. :) Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the reply. I always had an imagination since I was a child, although it isn't quite what it used to be as I am now 35 and secular school sucked that out of me lol. When I take scripture I do try to meditate on it however, I am very young in my faith so my understanding is very very limited as I lack knowledge in scripture. I seen this post and the clouds made me think of the "final battle" that is to come. Another scripture I read somewhere of Jesus on a white horse I think? This is where I lack knowledge and need a study partner. Besides trying to study though I am also trying to rebuild my heart in accordance to God, get sound doctrine become obedient to His commands to make sure I am prepared before he comes, while also lead another soul into true salvation.

For precept must be upon precept; precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; hear a little and there a little." Isaiah 28:9-10. KJV.
I am also learning and memorizing. It's a daily thing, a labor of love. May the LORD give you all understanding. Amen :)
I thank you for your kind words. I just see things are going exactly according to scripture and rather 'criticise' the world I just humbled my heart, looked inward and realised I was no different. I don't want to be like the world anymore. I just want to stop eating the fruit that Adam and Eve ate and turn back to God if that makes sense. But my lack of knowledge makes it difficult for me to understand exactly the true doctrine of God. After all satan knows the scriptures better than I and there are many "doctrines of devils". I know and believe Christ died for my sins but I just can't believe "faith alone" where we can wallow in sin. Abraham was told and Abraham obeyed. That is my kind of faith, or at least I try. I'm not sure if that is the right faith to have. I feel like I am on the verge of understanding but I am missing a piece or 2 of the puzzle so to speak. Never let your candle burn out like the "unwise virgins".

I do read scripture every day. I pray so much that I am actually praying as soon as I wake up before my eyes even open. Praying constantly for guidance, spiritual understanding, strength etc. I'm thankful for the very fact that I wake to see a new day so I can grow even closer to God. I ask God to bless all of his children that are doing his will wherever they might be. I pray for all those who are lost and those who are suffering. Most of all I pray that he as mercy on me when we go up in that great day of our Lord. I put everything I learned in to practice but I feel something is not quite right if that makes sense. For example I feel a sense of spiritual adultery when I go to "church" on a Sunday. Although the people there have helped me set my heart straight from anger and malice etc. Scriptures repeatedly say we are to keep His commandments and so I feel that we are to obey the 10 commandments but as I stated I do not know if my understanding is actually correct. which is why I need correcting or rebuking from someone who is in the faith. I have always put others before me even if it is at the cost of my own benefit which is why I have been considered "outcast", "red flag" "weird" or what ever label society have applied to me. ( 1 Tim 1:15) "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." And I am a chief of sinners, but I just want to convert a soul and lead them to the salvation that is found in our Lord. To do that I need to have my house in order and sound doctrine etc. because otherwise I will be just leading them astray.

You BELIEVE that there is something you have to do to please God.
You feel guilty that you might not please God.
You believe you have to give up thing and make sacrifices, your trying to please God.
God said: you are in this world, but not of this world, in this world people eat out, go to movies, ENJOY LIFE; Your just not to partake of the DECEPTION of this world, your a new creation.
The TRUTH OF the resurrection of Christ releases you from all these FEARS,
You and Christ were made ONE, God only sees the RIGHTEOUSNESS Christ.
Cease from your WORKS (that you have to do anything for salvation) and COME INTO the Sabbath rest, Christ has ALREADY done the WORKS.

We are now entering retirement and we again need to "crunch the numbers" again to work out a lifestyle that is within our means. We are cutting back on many things. NO biggie. We understand that things are fleeting pleasures and even necessities and that God has so much more in story for us in Christ. Time will fly by and we both will be at home with the Lord sooner than many on this site. But in the time between now and then, we will live a life of gratitude, sensibility, responsibleness, and generosity, according to how God blesses us.
I agree we need to be watchful of "subtle things" as you say, avoiding even the appearance of sin ( 1 Th. 5:22), some versions say, others say avoid every kind of evil. So, I think we need to do both, to say no to what we know to be evil and to turn away from anything that is subtlety evil in appearance (as we never know who is watching our conduct and example). The first we do for ourselves truly, to say not to obvious evil. But the second is for the conscience and judgment of others AND for ourselves as indulging in what appears to be evil can tempt us into more serious sin. Also, if certain practices and interactions with others cause us to sin, then we are to shun such things so we will escape being entrapped in a sin we had previously overcame or one that will ensnare us and master us.
Even so, I agree, we are to enjoy the life that God has blessed us with. We are to be wise in discerning good and evil so that we can walk according to what is good (and can be enjoyed to God's honor) and righteous (and is in obedience to God's will).
Living a balanced life between willingly forgoing some things for Christ's sake and enjoying the blessings of this mortal life in gratitude to God who provides and allows us to partake is the key important factor here.
AS for me, I endeavor to live a simple life her in the U.S. and avoid the over-indulgent lifestyle touted by those of worldly-mindedness. But I find many things that are simple pleasures meant for me to enjoy. I grew up in poverty that went back for generations and generations. God lifted me out of poverty when I married. We spent most of our married life just barely making ends meet raising our family. We were lived frugally and responsibly. In the last decade we have been blessed with a better standard of living than we have ever had before, but we are certainly not rich. AS a result of this blessing, we have not only been able to make ends meet, but also enjoy many things we hadn't the resources for past.
I can tell by the words you speak, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND, you quote the words but you don't understand the words.
You keep saying ''I", if you understood you would know there is NO "I", you DIED on the cross of Christ, ONLY CHRIST AROSE, and you and heir with Christ, a new creation, TWAIN became ONE.
Everything in God's word are examples, Christ DIED between two malefactors, ONE a sheep, the other a goat, ONE heard and understood his word, the other heard and DID NOT understand.
All creation DIED on the cross, some hear and understand, some hear and don't understand.
John 9:41 .... if your were blind, you would have NO SIN, but because you say I SEE, YOUR SIN REMAINETH.

You say I don't understand which I already explained my understanding is very limited. I am only 2 and half months in my walk with Christ. However, I do understand a little when you are saying about me being "dead" with Christ. I am like the wine bottles. the old me has been destroyed. I am now a new wine bottle filled with the LIVING blood (wine) of Christ. I became His bride at the cross. You're assumptions of me are far wrong though. It's not that I feel guilty, I truly love God for what he has done for me and so want to live a life of obedience to show that love. I am not good with words either when I said about "Christ lives in me" I came across Galatians 2:20 a few days ago which explains it better than me. Also as I stated, my church that I attend although is a baptist church mirror what you are saying. They actually preach these exact words "by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone and not of works lest any man should boast." They did not add to it like you said "you have to do this, this and this." or anything after that. If anything it was myself that was adding to it. Again though I really like to thank you for taking time and patience to help me with my understanding and my growth in God, I really do feel the Holy spirit in me resonating with what you are saying. My carnal mind however is not yet at capable of understanding if that makes sense lol.

The Bottles of heaven "clouds": it is an allusion to the girbahs, In the Hebrew its nay'-bel its a skin bag for liquids or bottles made of skin, in which they are accustomed to carry their water
God is asking Job does he know how God controls the weather!
It has nothing to do with you and I being a old bag of wine and it doesn't have anything that suggests one day we will be Gods.

The clouds in Hebrews is "nephos" it's used to picture a large dense multitude.
The clouds used in Job is "shachaq"
a powder (as beaten small); by analogy a thin vapor; by extension the firmament: - {cloud} small {dust} {heaven} sky. (Strongs definition in the Hebrew.)
The usage has no parallel.
Read Job 38:1-41 and get the context.
Now concerning the wine skins in Matthew 9:14-17.
verse 14 Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
John was the Last of the old testament prophets.
He came to announce the coming of the King.
Christ came to usher in something New.
Verse 16 and 17 Christ explains the change of dispensations.
The old dispensation of law was ending and Christ didn't come to patch it up, He came to present a new garment.
We being the body of Christ and Christ being the Head represents we being baptized into union with Christ and him being Lord over his body. He's the head and Lord over our lives by the quickening Spirit that rose Christ from the dead.

I sincerely hope and pray that is not what Jordyn is preaching, if so then he has only deceived himself and needs our prayers. Even I understand that was the second lie that the serpent spoke. "Ye shall be as gods" Genesis 3:5
Although I trust in and believe God's words, It's myself I have doubt with. I take everything to heart and sometimes take it as literal which I know this can be silly.
Jesus spoke of a narrow road but I feel like I am treading on a thread of a spider web, having to watch my back from false teachers and doctrines etc. I do know this though, Jesus came in the flesh to save me from my sins and now that my eyes have been opened to that truth I cannot and will not return to the old me.
I guess I will just continue to pick up my cross everyday and pray that someday God will give me understanding.
I just want to be a lighthouse on a hill shining out to the sea of people for Jesus, if you get my meaning.

We have the best teacher in us that is the Spirit of truth! That is Christ spirit. "The Holyspirit"

We study God's word and the Holyspirit makes it real to us!
Christ gifted his Church with teachers and Preachers and they will have the same Spirit as you that will guide you along with the word of God.
We test EVERYTHING with the light of scripture.
This teaching of his is worse than you think, He's not only saying the saved becomes God! He's saying ALL of humanity will be God's! No matter what you have done! There's No consequences for sin.
He's saying We are not saved from anything.
This suggests that what Christ did on the cross was a foolish act and unnecessary.
The love of God shown in John 3:16 was un caused for.
He's also is saying there is no punishment for unbelief.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
SAVED FROM WHAT, HE SAYS THERE IS NO HELL AND SATAN DON'T EXIST.

This holds true for Judas, he say CHOSEN, and he did what he was chosen for.
This holds true for Satan, he is doing what he was chosen for.
God said when Christ has put ALL THINGS under his FEET, God WILL BE ALL in ALL.
Christ will not fail in what he was SENT TO DO.
God said he would set brother against brother, he has a purpose for this, all though we can't yet see it.
Brother S Spencer and I are both in God's plan, even though we seem to be brother against brother.

As I explained to S Spencer I take everything to heart and often I take it literal which I know not everything is to be taken literal.
However, I do apply it to me nonetheless.
I am like Solomon where I have tasted everything from this world and it has left me with nothing but emptiness. Now I just want to lead others to the grace, glory and salvation but to do that I need to get my own house back in order and make sure I have sound doctrine.

You are right, the old (wine bottle) has passed away, and YOU ARE the NEW (bottles of heaven).
Job 38:37 Who can number the CLOUDS (of heaven) .... Mark 14:62 ..... Hebrews 12:1 ...... IN WISDOM? or who can stay the bottles of heaven.
You DIED with Christ, but only Christ arose, YOU were a JOINT HEIR with Christ in the Kingdom of God, Christ is the kingdom of God.
You DIED, only Christ is alive and YOU are the Body of that LIFE, as Christ is the BODY of the LIFE of his Father.
You said you want to lead a LIFE of OBEDIENCE, You DIED, ONLY Christ exist, he is the LIFE, and you the Body, He CAUSES you to do his WILL, Christ, The Body, walks in total obedience to his Father's Life (Spirit); therefore, if and when you come to TRUTH, you walk in total obedience.
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is BORN of God (resurrected as ONE FLESH), doth not commit sin; for HIS SEED (Christ) remains IN HIM, and he CANNOT SIN, because he is BORN of God (resurrected as ONE FLESH with Christ).
You obey and honour God when you BELIEVE his words.

One shall be taken and one left.

The ones taken, are taken in DEATH, the ones left never see DEATH, but are translated into the presence of God ( 1 Timothy 6:16)

There is no end of the world.
Ephesians 3:21 .... world without end ...
We get mixed up all the time, because our old mind hasn't totally BEEN RENEWED to the mind of Christ.
The end of the world is one example.
The end of the world (age) (in the fullness of time) came when Christ was resurrected, he said: Behold, I make all things new.
Probably a more accurate translation would be the end of the AGE, or the fullness of time.
The 1000 year reign with Christ is NOW, running parallel, with this age, but we are not of this age, because in the fullness of time we became a new creation.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this age, be be ye TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING (all things have become new) of your mind.
He give us the parable of the seed, Christ, being the SEED.
The corn plant was the example.
If you plant a corn SEED in the ground, that SEED will DIE, and a green plant will emerge, that looks nothing like the SEED that was planted.
That plant grows and as it matures it slowly begins to naturally die, then the SEED is harvested by the farmer, and the good SEED is put in the barn.
It's put in the barn to be used as FOOD and for REPLANTING.
This is exactly what happen to the new new creation.
Christ the SEED, DIED, and was raised up, the green plant raised up with Christ (you and I), looks nothing like the SEED, but when we become mature (by the words of God), God sends the angels and they harvest us, our body that brought the SEED to maturity, is no longer needed, it goes back to the ground it came from, and the SEED goes back to the barn to be used as FOOD and REPLANTING SEED.
The OLD saints, now chariots of fire, and all that have been harvested in the last 2000 years, have become SEED for eating and replanting, they are workers in God's vineyard, all called at different hours of the day, they are causing you to mature and become a SEED.

There is a remnant of the 12 tribes today, they were resurrected with Christ.
These are the 144,000 in Revelation.
The 144,000 and 12,000 from each tribe is probably symbolic.
In the Old, when they were numbered, each tribe had vering numbers in those tribes.
At present they are ministering spirits (of truth) as their IMAGE Christ.
If you study and understand the blessings of Jacob given to them, they will carry those prophecy forward and have seed after the blessings of each tribe.
The blessing of Jacob upon Judah was that that tribe would be the priest and lawgivers.
All the tribes will exist again and those brought into those tribes will fall under the blessings given by Jacob to them.
This can be seen in Ezekiel, but it is hidden in complex symbols.
Jesus told his disciples, each would head a tribe of Israel.
But ONLY the Father knew which.

1 Corinthians 15:26 And the last enemy to be destroyed is death.
Christ's resurrection destroyed death and we were Joint Heirs with Christ at his resurrection, being made ONE FLESH.
Most Christians believe he died for our sin, but they don't believe they became ONE, as the Father and SON are ONE.
The wages of UNBELIEF is DEATH.
The Gift of BELIEF ia IMMORTAL LIFE and Christ ONLY has IMMORTAL LIFE ( 1 Timothy 6:16).
God says he, by Christ's resurrection made a new creation, a family of SONS of God, the exactness of Christ, a priesthood after the order of Melchizedek.
So there is a FIRST DEATH and a SECOND DEATH.
Those who believe they DIED and were made ONE in Christ, will never die again ( Luke 20:36).
Those who don't believe they DIED, and the resurrection made them ONE as the Father and Son and son are ONE will be cast into prison, the GRAVE ( Revelation 20:2-3).
After God has gather all his SONS to be priest in the Kingdom, he will resurrect the unbelievers back to their flesh and blood bodies, they will be loosed out of their prison ( Revelation 20:7).
Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of creation WAITETH for the MANIFESTATION of the SONS of GOD.
After all the dead are raised at the second resurrection the Sons of God will preach the gospel to them about the truth of the resurrection, judge them by the words of God, and give them the truth and mercy given to us, and they will DIED the second death, and also become the SONS of God ( Isaiah 59:21).

Thank you again for taking time to help me. I believe His words but my understanding is equivalent to that of an infant, as I mentioned I am only 2 half months in to my walk. The first four weeks I spent all day, everyday studying by myself but I think I might have deceived myself due to my lack of understanding hence why I am here. I thought I might mention that you said about how people go to movies etc. and enjoy life, I do not watch television because I do not enjoy it. I enjoy reading and learning more about God, that is my enjoyment. Psalm 1:2 That is my delight.

It doesn't read as you stated.
Your text for both verses;
( Moreover "God" continued his parable,...
Here's what's written;
Job 27:1 "Moreover "Job" continued his parable, and said,...
Jon 29:1 "Moreover "Job" continued his parable, and said...
You're fashioning scripture to say what you want it to say to hinder the truth.
Don't believe a word I say without looking to the scriptures and asking Christ to teach you.
Going to concordances for definitions of words will actually hinder you, because most of God's truth is hidden in parables and symbols, and have nothing to do with the defined definition of the word, truth is hidden within the symbol of that word.
Job is a parable, containing prophecies of Christ.

You say you are not good with words but what you've written here makes perfect sense. Reading through what you just wrote, several things passed through my mind. When I say I am not good with words is because usually people don't understand what it is that I am trying to convey. Although sometimes I may be slow to understand I am by no means stupid. I have not walked in to Christianity blindly because it makes me feel good about myself like a lot of people I know, I do have reason which makes me sincerely believe that Jesus is the truth.
