    I have a question.

We are are approaching the Christmas season, by celebrating Christmas, and all it's tradition of man, are we honouring God of DISHONOURING God?

Christ was not born on Christmas.

    God Bless YOU!

    Hi Jordyn,

I also agree with you that Jesus was not born in December. You probably already know that he was most likely born in the fall. Sometime around the Feast of Tabernacles. There are several reasons for thinking this is true.

Thanks, Jordyn, for the points that you bring up.

    Hi Jordyn,

agree with you that Christmas is NOT a Biblical holiday. It has pagan roots and Santa Claus is actually Satan. He tries to copycat the LORD. (In my opinion, it's like identity theft.)

    1. God's throne is in the north. Santa comes from the North Pole.

    2. Santa says "HoHo Ho". There are 13 Biblical references to "Ho". For example, Zechariah 2:6 "Ho,ho, come forth and flee from the land of the north." (The north in this particular case is on physical earth, historically speaking. )

    3. Santa knows if you've been good or bad, a copycat of our LORD's omniscients.

Like every subject, a lot more can be said, but I'll stop here. In my family, we raised our children with Christmas and Easter. About 12 years ago, I learned the truth. Unfortunately, our adult children still do those holidays. I suppose it's hard to break a fun tradition. But, my husband and I celebrate ,instead, the feasts of the LORD. And, since Jesus is mentioned as being in Jerusalem during the feast of lights (a civil holiday), we do Hanukkah.

    Shabbat Keeper:

Do you believe these scripture have reference to holidays he didn't establish.

Jeremiah 10:2 Thus saith the Lord, LEARN NOT the ways of the nations .....

Jeremiah 10:3 For the customs of the people are VAIN, one cutteth a tree out of the forest ....

Jeremiah 10:4 They DECK IT with silver and gold, and fasten it with nails and hammers, that it move not.

    God Bless YOU!

Hi Jordyn, Yes, I do think those verses are referring to the pagan practices of worship etc. and, yes I think Christmas trees come from exactly those pagan practices. Those are good verses to point out.

Romans 14:5.. One man esteems one day above another; another esteems everyday alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.... I for one feel it is in a sense, lending "credibility" to the catholic powers that be, the "holidays" as it were, were implemented by them, either directly or indirectly. As for me, I try to esteem those days with lower regard for that reason.
