The house of Micah by Law of Gradation follows that of Gideon and at the end of this chapter Danites follow suit. The priest the Levite retained by Micah would set up a megachurch, no doubt of that, but the Spirit makes it clear in v.31. "And the children of Dan set up the graven image: and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of Manasseh, he and his sons were priests to the tribe of Dan until the day of the captivity of the land/ And they set them up Micah's graven image, which he made, all the time that the house of God was in Shiloh (vv.30-31).
Of what use was the house set up by the tribe of Dan when the house of God was in Shioh? Similarly in our times we hear another Christ being preached and in their gospel prosperity is sign of blessing. All scandals are permitted as long as it is contained within the members of the board? God is not mocked. The have brought in the eleventh commandment. "Believe what we say; but do not do what we do. No room for competition." So goes trying to be number one.
