    More thoughts on fellowship in light of Hebrews 10:25

    Since the COVID restrictions and the exodus of a significant percent of those professed believers from the overall corporate body of Christ in churches there has been a continued isolation from physical presence in the houses of worship. This made it easy to find an excuse to do what clearly was desired all along by many in that regard.

    I have been privileged to personally meet a number of missionaries in recent years; and supported one from Bangladesh that since has gone stateside. Seeing the interaction with their wives and children has been an inspiration to me along with sound doctrine being proclaimed. We should seek to involve congregations; as in a former church I attended where there was a "missions moment" discussing a certain country where a missionary was active. Unfortunately; most churches only have an occasional presentation on this subject; yet today more than ever would be a great time for the average layperson to have communications online to support these individuals. Realizing their prayers for us (as they did when I was involved in a church plant that started seven years ago) should help us to feel closer to those formerly on the field.

    Something came up recently in regard to a couple churches that are renting the building that our church worships in. I have seen issues elsewhere in regard to that situation as well. Currently there are maintenance annoyances (leaving messes; etc) but I am praying that there can be some interaction such as prayer and fellowship between these congregations at our church. This surely is a commonplace occurrence these days. When I lived in Pittsburgh I saw more interaction with various churches and charities than I see where I live today. Certain cautions need to be taken as to the doctrines being preached elsewhere; however. Missionaries have brought up to me more than once that the same errors found here occur on the mission field.

    Hello Richard: I was a member of a church that taught they were the church that Christ started during his ministry, that they taught only the truth and joining them by covenant was the only way to heaven. I attended this church for a very long time, however, even thought they were always preaching the love of God would be the sign that drew people in, they were a very unloving, self-righteous, legalistic group of people. I finally left. Then I attended a non-denominational church for almost a year and, even though the lead pastor and my pastor always used the NIV version, I just followed along in my KJB and paid close attention to what was being taught, but then one day I was talking to my pastor the topic of bible versions came up, he flatly told me the KJB was not inspired by God and that's why he used the NIV, of course, I left on the spot. I bring all this up because I know that the Church of God and the Body of Christ are made up of true believers that are and will be here when God raptures her. I know having fellowship with one another is very important, it is very beneficial to our growth in Christ and in helping one another through hard times in the fruit of the Spirit, but our doctrine is what the Holy Spirit reveals to us through His holy word. A heart that is wholly dedicated to God and longing for the truth will not be lead astray by false doctrines, so it isn't necessary to belong to any particular "church" or abide by their doctrines. Fellowship matters but not at the cost of sitting under unscriptural teachings. I don't attend a church right now because there isn't one that uses the KJB that I can find without a lot of false doctrine attached to their teachings, so I spend good quality time with the Lord, enjoying His presence and loving Him with all my heart, mind and soul.

    I do understand how you feel and I've been in a similar situation to you . I haven't been to church for a while now and I miss it . In all honesty I don't miss the people , I miss the sermons , I love to be taught about the Bible and I'm always hungry to learn and I miss the bread and the wine very much . It is a precious privilege to partake of the bread and wine and I believe we should do so if possible . Keep looking for a church , I hope you find somewhere you can be comfortable and enjoy , I miss singing hymns also . I sing them at home but I have a hideous singing voice :( .

    Amen, not one church can give you the truth. Jesus said in

    " John 8:31] Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

    [32] And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

    Churches are walking around in their sin with strong delusions to believe a lie to ve damned with. They all believe they are holding onto God's hand when in reality they are holding unto the devil's hand up to their neck in sin and expecting grace to keep on saving them like it is a walk in the park. Churches are not interested in going back to the old road of revival with the King James bible as they have tasted too much of the world and not too much of the word. As Jesus said, his words has no place in them John 8:37. He was talking to Abraham's seed to his people before people were called Christians. Christanity has rejected Jesus Christ the Son of God as prophesied abs accepted the world and the bible in 2nd Cor 6 tells us to come out from amoung them. Come out of the synagogues of Satan who refuse the love of the truth and walk hand in hand with your pocketbook and nothing for the saving of the soul. You find a evangelist who believes in the perfecting of the saints and does not rebell agianst the words of the Gospel of Christ the King Janes Bible. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft...this is what the church is engaged in their abominations and their carnal minded fun only to be cast into hell after with no fear of God before their eyes.
