Matt.2:1 "Itinerary of The Wise Men"

"Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,"

Here we shall discuss the itinerary of three, the wisemen, Herod and Joseph, the father of Jesus. The three wisemen could not have undertook their travel without taking reasonable care and reason guided their steps as much as their readings from the sky."For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him." Their reason failed to think the future king shall be found in a palace and in Jerusalem, the city of peace. Is this not similar to the manner the churches have missed the truth about the Son since their understanding is from the context of tricky article such as reason? Jesus said categorically,"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." Instead we have the Evangelicals take up the political cause of others and scatter away their ministry into chaff. Where the word of God has already settled New Jerusalem these foolish ministers would harp on literal Jerusalem since official line of Capitol Hill is Pro-Israel.

The Magi were mistaken in consulting Herod with regards to the future king. It would result in needless bloodshed which was foretold by Prophet Jeremiah.

The wise men from the east erred by relying on reason but the star did not. "And, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was./When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy".

They were to report back to King Herod. "And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way."(2:12) . We may be sure that they did not return as the went out. When Jesus began to preach "And to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up." (4:16-17"They had a hand in it.
