    QUESTION?

    Is Christ God?

Ephesians 4:13 Till WE ALL COME into the UNITY of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a PERFECT MAN, unto the measure of the FULLNESS of Christ.

Colossians 2:9 For IN HIM dwelleth all the FULLNESS of the Godhead BODILY.

Colossians 1:27 .... this mystery ..... Christ IN YOU ......are you not the body of Christ .....

1 Corinthians 12:27 ... ye are the BODY of Christ ......

John 19:34 ..... Is it not written IN YOU LAW, I HAVE SAID, Ye are gods?

Jesus was the (Son)of God .

Jesus sits at the right hand of his Father.

No one comes to the Father but by me. (Jesus the son)

Apostle Paul speaks that God gave Jesus his son the

    Spirit without measure.

Jesus prayed to the Father. If he was God ,who was he praying to?

After Jesus was babtized he was driven into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. ( God can not be tempted!)

Jesus's statement to Mary Magdalene, after his resurrection. Touch me not , for I have not yet ascended to the Father.

And they heard a voice from Heaven saying, this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.

Jesus said I must return to the one who sent me.

These are just a few of the top of my head in scriptures that tell that Jesus truly was the Son of God.

    Hope this Helps.

But I will always say you should seek the Lord with all your heart and he will show you the truth through his Holyspirit.

I pray the Lord bless you without measure.

    I love you all.

This is a good example of flawed logic as referred to earlier.

You seem to suggest you believe Jesus is the Son of God, but can't be God because he's already the Son of God.

    Jesse, do you have kids?

If so, you would be a dad, correct? But you're also a son. But how can someone be both a "father" and a "son" at the same time. Surely that's impossible! This exposes one of your logical assumptions you used.

But the same argument could also be made for God the Father. He's already called the Father, so how can He also be God, if He's already the Father? Believing flawed human logic instead of scripture.

The second false assumption is thinking that Jesus can't be God, because [according to you] you don't think He would pray to Himself. But the Bible says Jesus created everything and was always there from the beginning ( John 1) before He relegated Himself to being a temporary man. You then take Jesus's actions as a temporary man and falsely assuming He was never anything but a man and that all of His actions as a temporary man is permanently how He is. That's quite an assumption. Also, the Son was praying to the Father, was He not? And the verse saying the Father and Son are one- do you believe that?

This post is more for others, because the truth needs to be shared instead of the anti-Bible propaganda people post here.

"Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God." Isaiah 44:6 KJV

Do you believe Jesus is Lord? Do you believe He's the King of Israel, and King of the Jews? Do you believe He's the Alpha and Omega, first and last like the Bible says?

"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." Revelation 22:13 KJV

"besides me there is no God" He says. But I'm sure people will keep believing in whatever appeases them, rather than what the Bible actually says. God bless.

Hi Adam, you asked if I had kids.

If so, you would be a dad, correct? But you're also a son. But how can someone be both a "father" and a "son" at the same time. Surely that's impossible! This exposes one of your logical assumptions you used.

From my perspective in the above portion of your post

Your taking a naturalistic view point in this . Sure this is possible as human beings, to be a Father and a Son.

But we know God is Spirit. We know God is the Father,

But with your above comment your statement would be That God is someone's Son. This is not sound doctrine and has no biblical foundation.

    Let's Go to Gen ch1 vs 26

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Let (US) make man in (our) own image

Jesus was with God From the beginning.

Let me ask you a question.

Have you received the babtizim of the Holyghost?

What is the Holyghost? It is the spirit of God. right?

So God manifests his spirit in you , through the Holyghost. Right?

With gifts of the spirit and fruits of the spirit.

Weather they be speaking in tounges, healings, prophesying ,interpretation. etc.

God lives within those who have the Holy spirit.

We are heirs through Christ .

So we are in christ and he in us ,as christ is in the Father and the Father in him .

Likewise through Jesus we have the spirit of God in us.

See, so Gods manifestation in us does not make us (God. Or Jesus.)

Jesus was Gods only begotten son, filled with the Holyspirit without measure. Sent to do the will of the Father. This doesn't make him God the Father.

It makes him the son filled with his Fathers spirit.

    John 14:28

Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

    Hello Adam,

As you know from my most recent posts, I truly believe that Jesus is God. You directed your question to "Jesse" which is my user name. The question should have been directed to Jesse A, not Jesse. I will never post anything under the name Jesse A. I only go by the name Jesse, not Jesse A. I have been concerned about this for some time now that when people see the name Jesse A, they are going to think it is me. This is not me. Again, I only go by Jesse.

I hope you understand my concern.

    Thanks Adam!

    Brother Adam:

    Jesus DID NOT created anything?

Christ's God and Father created all things by his Son Jesus Christ.

Christ can do nothing but what his God and Father CAUSEs him TO SAY and To DO.

John 8:28 .... and that I do nothing of myself .....

Hebrews 1:2 ..... the God and Father of Christ hath appointed Christ HEIR of all things, by Christ also the God and Father of Christ made the worlds.

    God Bless You!

Yes, Jesus is God. He is because the Bible says He is, like John 1:1 and many other places. Can someone truly be a Christian and not believe Christ's divinity? Satan deceives even Christians and those deceived seem to remain stubborn and not readily admit they've been conned. It seems no amount of Bible verses even matter at this point. It doesn't matter than 10 says He is God, or 100, they've made up their mind it seems. Jesus's own name Immanuel means "God with us."

    Huge thread of Bible verses:

    Link

Those who seem motivated to campaign against Jesus and attack and try to demean him seem like enemies of Christ. Would someone who loves Jesus do that? The same old tired straw man arguments and flawed human logic is somehow viewed as carrying more weight than the scriptures themselves. Cherry picking and twisting a few verses occurs while ignoring a mountain of clear verses saying Jesus is God, like John 1:1. But as the Bible says in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 people will seek out fables and turn to lies to satisfy their fleshly itching ears. It is disgusting.

    Brother Adam:

No one has said Jesus is not a GOD.

But Christ IS NOT Christ's God, and Christ's Father, which is SPIRIT.

Christ's God and Father, is the LIFE in Christ's Body.

As Christ's God and Christ's Father is the LIFE of Christ

Christ's God and Christ's Father hath GIVEN Christ power to have LIFE in HIMSELF.

    John 5:26

BY his death and resurrection he is OUR GOD and OUR FATHER.

God with us and in us.

Psalms 136:2 O give thanks to the God of gods, for his mercy endureth forever.

Christ's has GIVEN his children the same POWER he has, by being the LIFE and POWER of his SEED.

When Christ has raised all the DEAD unbelievers at the second resurrection, Christ's saint will exercise that POWER unto JUDGEMENT.

    God Bless YOU!

"But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." 1 Corinthians 8:6 KJV

"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:" Deuteronomy 6:4 KJV

"Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God." Isaiah 44:6 KJV

You said you think Jesus is "a GOD". This is shocking to read.

Have you read the verses above that say there is one God? Do you believe those verses? If so, why do believe there is more than one God?

Then you continue with flawed human logic: this can't be true because of [this], etc.

The rest of what you wrote does not seem consistent with scripture. What religion do you identify with?
