Hello Ali Omar:
It is very interesting, how the Bible describes the various kings' ages and the beginning and the end of their reigns.
At first sight there are many discrepancies, that you can only understand if you compare all the relevant verses from the Books of Kings and Chronicles.
I guess you've already started doing this comparison, that's how you've found these seemingly contradicting verses.
To answer your question:
Jehoiachin was 18 years old when he ***Officially*** took over the throne in Judah and reigned for exactly 3 months and 10 days.
When in 2Chr 36:9 says that he was 8 years old, it refers to Jehoiachin's age when his ***Co-regency*** started with his father.
His father (Jehoiakim) was king for 11 years, that means 10 years will go by before the next king will reign. This means that the 8 years old Jehoiachin will become 18 years old when he will ***Officially*** sit on the throne of Judah.
2Kings 24:8 only gives you 3 months, as it did not go into exact details to mention the 3 Months and 10 days.
