    "Wisdom"

There are two kinds one which is from above and other carnal, qualified as 'devilish.'

Wisdom is knowledge of the holy framed into a body, so when we refer to Jesus who of God has become wisdom. Wisdom is also compared to a building of God, 'an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens'. It is of this we have in the epistle of St James, "But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy./ And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace." (Jas.3:17-18)

This wisdom is free, which is also called as planted by God so the seed is in itself. This is the word of God. "But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it."(De.30:14). This forms the part of the abstract in the everlasting covenant between God and Man. (Ge.1:12-13) Also significant is the fact that it comes under the third day, which is a tag for the Son. St Paul refers to it, "But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption." (1 Co.1:30) In the light of the above we may examine the discourse of our Savior Lord, "I am the true vine' and you are the branches. "And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of that make peace."

Instead carnal wisdom produces strife 'in your hearts' and heresies of Gnosticism to what we find in our own times are driven by Satan to create confusion. (Jas.1:14-16).
