Bible Discussion Thread

I'm going through a hard time, I lost 2 best friends and I'm getting abused by my mother. I really need a prayer right now.

I will ask God to intervene and give you wisdom as to your options. I am assuming being on this site you are old enough to have some degree of independence. May He grant you patience as you seek forgiveness for those who have hastily given up friendship and may you have wisdom what to listen to and what not to so that anything the Lord would have you work on can be done and you can disregard what is of the enemy. May He grant you recall as you meditate on scripture as to how to respond and to hold fast to God's promises. May circumstances help you be a witness to all those you and your mother interact with and may He make Himself clear to her even if she doesn't want to accept God's truth to rule in her life.

Dear Christopher: I hold you up to the Lord for Him to surround you with His grace and strength. I pray that he will open a door for the friends He wants you to have. I pray that he protects you always in every situation. Don't despair. Trust Him. If you're in a church, you may have either your pastor or a fellow Christian you can easily confide in for support. We're here for each other.
