Will we recognize our loved ones in heaven?

    Hi James gray

1 John 3:1-2 reads "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."

"we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."

James I believe we will be able to know and see one another the same way Christ does.

Perhaps from another dimension that we can't comprehend in these bodies.

    God bless.

People ask this question a lot. It seems they are very concerned about greeting their loved ones in heaven. Maybe we will or maybe we won't but one thing is for sure - we will know Jesus.

    Amen Momsage!

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:1-2.

    Two points worth mentioning.

    1) Beloved, "now" are we the sons of God, ( Present tense!)

    2) but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; When Christ appear for his purchased possession we shall be like him. Incomprehensible!

    God bless you.
