    Ephesians chapter 6 says "we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers,and rulers of darkness of this world'. I understand this to mean that we are fighting with the people we see on a daily basis that we think or know to be persecuting us. We are fighting with the spririts that drive these people, and 'rulers of darkness', we cannot see them with the naked eye. So as I agree with the psalmist on this one, but also while ask God to deliver us we should ask Him to deliver our enemies also. So when u read psalm 35; also read the book of proverbs
