Romans 10:15.....And how can people preach UNLESS THEY ARE SENT? [ who were sent and by whom and with what authority?] "SENT", as used in the Greek language of which the book of Romans was written, is apostello. [apostle] John 20:21-23.....Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has SENT me, so I SEND you." And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained."
[apostalic succession].... Romans 10:15.....And how can people preach UNLESS THEY ARE SENT? how do Non-Catholic preachers preach if they are not in the line of succession going all the way back to the Apostles???
Why would Jesus go through the trouble of giving the apostles this authority if He preferred the practice of personal confession direct to Himself?
