    I agree that women should not wear men’s clothing and vice versa. But let’s keep in mind that throughout the textual context in first few books of the Old Testament, robes were the garments used by both, men and women. So the difference was most likely in the design and decoration. Likewise today, if I Christian women want to wear pants, it would be appropriate to wear pants designed specifically for women, keeping in mind modesty.
