    This verse means that one shouldn't lay hands on
    a man for public ministry to quickly without a thorough
    investigation. He needs to be suitable and qualified for
    the office of an overseer/pastor/elder. Nor share in other
    people's sins: this means the sin of hasty ordination which
    makes those responsible culpable for the man's sin of serving
    as an unqualified elder and thus misleading people.Keep yourself pure: this means" free from sin"
