    Both in the Old Testament where it is a continual theme and in the New we are admonished to care for 'strangers'. Australia should be very careful how they treat desperate people who come here on boats fleeing persecution in their countries. Australia is shutting themselves off from blessing by allowing these terrible policies against 'boat people'. It also refers to hospitality; we should all care for those who live amongst us that are 'strangers' and in need
