  • No name on Acts 19 - 10 years ago
These believers were baptized in the name of the LORD Jesus, verse 5. The believers in Acts 2 verse 38 were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and they were all JEWS see verses 1,5,14,22,36. The Gentiles of Acts 10 were baptized in the name of the Lord. The Lord is the name of the Father see Jude 5 and the O.T. The name of the Son is the Lord, see Phil 2 verse 11. The Holy Ghost called Lord in 2 Cor 3 verse 17. This matches what Jesus said in Matt 28 verse 19. I suggest getting baptised that way and not the Jewish baptism of Acts 2 verse 38. Many people are going to hell in Acts 2 when you can go to Heaven in Romans 10 written to GENTILES who you are. Jews and Gentiles are to be saved by grace through faith and not of works like baptism. God bless.
