Whereas Calvinists will tell you that God ALONE is responsible for salvation and condemnation, in John 1 9 God says the true Light hath lightened every man that cometh into the world. Why? To make man and not God responsible for accepting or rejecting that Light, the grace God gives every man. Otherwise, the God of the Bible would be an unjust God indeed. But we know he 's not by the laws he gave for just judgment. Just look them up. Calvinism makes a mockery of God 's judgment of individuals. Don 't forget that Calvinists make themselves 'the chosen '... 'the elect ' of God...not God. And as for Eph 2 8,9, it is by God 's grace that man 's faith saves him. God and man working together...and not God ALONE. Don 't believe everything Calvinists tell you. Just because they preface every sentence with "God is Sovereign " doesn 't mean they 're telling you the truth. They 're as subtile as the deceiver in the Garden.
