God made man to be in the image of the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost. He made man to be spiritual like Him. God said let us meaning there was more than one person that was with Him. John testified that Jesus was the Word and that all things were made by Him, and without Him, was not anything made that was made. John 1 3. Jesus is the Word of God. He is not God. The words that came from God 's mouth was Jesus. Without Jesus, nothing could have been created. God 's design was that man be created in a fleshly body, but have His spiritual nature that He could dwell with daily. God said let us make man in our image, after our likeness. It says in the word, we are to be like Christ. Before sin entered the world, we were like Christ in His spiritual form. God reveals His Word to them who seek the truth. Man 's wisdom is foolishness to God. It 's carnal and sheer vanity. In fact, God takes foolish things to confound the wise. 1 Corinthians 1 27. Let the word of God not be a stumblingblock. God has a Son and His name is Jesus. He was in the beginning with God and will judge the whole world according to righteousness.
