  • Rev. Autrey on Isaiah 44 - 10 years ago
In Isiah 44. verse 22, God says, 'I have blotted out your sins. They are gone like the morning mist at noon! Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free. ... ' Didn 't Jesus blot out our sins, and pay the price to set us free? This means that Jesus is the Old Testsament God who said these things. The trouble is, we just do not want to admit this. We perfer to believe that there are two Gods, a big one and a little one. But this is not true. God is one God. And just because he calls himself the Father or the Son does not change this fact. Let 's put it this way. When God decided to come into the world he called himself the Father. But when he came he called himself the Son. But God is always this way because he is alwsys making decisions, and always doing things. But the fact remains that when God walked on earth he did it as Jesus the Son. That is why the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are all about what God as Jesus did and said. If you have trouble believing this ask God to help you!
