The entire Sermon on the Mt could be summed up in Vse 48...You will therefore be perfect even as your Heavenly Father is perfect...That is the whole of it! Jesus is the Father... Isa 9:6, Jn 14:9. Only Jesus Himself could live up to this Sermon, therefore, self needs to get out of the way and apply this...it is no longer I, but, Christ... Gal 2:20...It is He living His life through us making this possible! Christ IN you, the hope of glory... Colossians 1:27
