Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Hebrews 1 - 10 years ago
Hello Aubrey, In St. John the first chapter, it states in verse 1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God ". Verse 3 "All things were made by him, and without him was not any thing made that was made ". When you read over in Genesis Chapter 1 You have to ask yourself who made everything God did. Then you read St. John Chapter 1 14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth ". See the Word was God, He made everything in the beginning, and then he clothe himself in Flesh and dwelt among us, because no one could look upon his true face and live, Exodus 33 20. When you read Colossians 2 9 "For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily ". This does not say that Jesus dwelleth in the Godhead with two other beings. This states that in Jesus within him dwelleth the fullness of the Godhead Bodily. If you read over under the scriptures Acts 2 then you will read further explanation of the oneness of God. Jesus is God manifested in the flesh and he holds three offices or titles, but his is one being.
