    Hello Ryan, Part 1of 2 I do not see a scripture where it states that there are three heavens. However, if you continue to read you will find that the heaven that verse one is talking about is the Heaven that we see now, because in verses 9 and 10 he gathered the waters under the heaven and then he placed the Earth there also. Then in Chapter 2 verse 1 leads you to believe that there is more than just one heaven. Instead of saying heaven and earth the scripture states that there are heavens and the earth. Naturally we see the heaven which is above us. Then there is what some people call the heaven or universe or galaxy whatever further above the heaven. Then there is a heaven in which we do not see that is where God and the angels reside.
