Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 1 - 10 years ago
Part 1 of 2 Hello Mark, No, I don 't think that you are being argumentative. If you reread right below where I gave you the previous answer you will still find the answer you seek. I cannot say it no plainer than this. Jesus declared his divinity when he stated he was the I AM. He declared his divinity when he told Phillip "Have I been so long time with you and yet has thou not known me ". He also declared his divinity when Satan came to tempt him in the wilderness and he stated in Matthew 4 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God ". The conversation was just between Satan and Jesus. Jesus told him, if I can say it like this, You know that it is written you shall not tempt me Satan, I am God. Then in John Chapter 1, you cannot get around the fact that it states "the Word was God " then it states that the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory ". The only one that we beheld his glory was Jesus Christ and he is God manifested in the flesh.
