After many generations the flood came. The only people that were saved were Noah, his wife, and Noah s three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth and their three wives. There were only eight people that were saved out of the whole world at this time, 1 Peter 3 20 Who sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water . Noah came from the blood line of Seth. When Seth had Enos this is when men began to call on the name of the Lord. Read Genesis 4 26 and then Read Chapter 5.
