    James, I would like to add one more comment to the one that I have already submitted. The Roman church was a church that was professing holiness. All of the Books and epistles that are written by Paul are to saints of God. These people were already saints, Romans 1 7. True saints refer to people who have taken on the name of Jesus Christ. The only way you can take on the name of Jesus Christ is to do what Peter declared on the day of Pentecost.
