An old bottle or skin signifies weakness while new wine signifies holy spirit, his power and gifts. Every weak or strong christian earnestly seek one holy ghost gift or the other but do not get it as expected. The reason is that during the manifestation of the gift, the spiritual strength required to sustain spiritual gifts or power is more than what it takes to receive it.So in order to avoid loses, the carriage capacity of a christian is what God considers b 4 releasing his spiritual gift and not his desires. This is similar to what a rational wine tapper considers when choosing bottles or skins for his freshly tapped wines. What matters most to the tapper is the strength of the bottle and not the beauty. The way a weak bottle breaks and wastes itself and the wine to the ground is the way a weak but empowered christian breaks and wastes himself and his holy ghost gift to the devil. For instance if a christian that is hot tempered, proud or unforgiven is endowed with the power to do a variety of miracles. You would guess that one day, he would do something that can put the body of christ to ridicule.
