Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Acts 2 - 10 years ago
Hello Ar I would like to add another comment. I hope that it will get printed. There are many churches that started out and then something happened to them where they either changed the way they do things or a schism caused them to change the way they do things. For example, The Catholic Church used to Baptize actually submerged people in water. However, because of one Archbishop they changed the baptism to sprinkling which is nowhere to be found in the books of Acts. They still believe that baptism is correct they choose not to do it. The Catholics have graven images of Mary and seek her to talk to Jesus for them on their behalf concerning their sins. Salvation and forgiveness of sins do not come from Mary or through Mary. She had to get it like everyone else under this Dispensation of Grace. Salvation comes from Jesus Christ, Acts 4 12 Neither is there salvation in any other for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved . Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh, 1 Timothy 3 16. He is the only one that can forgive us of our sins through repentance and the correct baptism. True repentance is a godly sorrow and will affect emotions 11 Corinthians 7 9 10. The correct Baptism brings about a remission or forgiveness or pardon of sins. There is no way around this promise.
