Hello Paul Porter I would not change a thing in the Bible. Let me tell you why. A very long time age I studied where the Bible comes from and what I actually saw with my own eyes is that there is very little change from the original, to the Great Bible, to the King James Version in translation. What I mean by this is that the meaning of the scripture is still intact. The message has not been tampered with. These new versions, a lot of them distort the Bible, the meaning of the scripture, and the context. Now if someone wanted to change the wording then just change the words like thy to you perhaps something like that, but to change a lot of words to construct sentences in our language unless God gives inspiration to that person, will alter the meaning of the text. There is an old saying, if it ain t broke don t fix it . Why tamper with the word of God. See we have forgotten the scripture where it says the Holy Ghost will teach you all things and bring all things back to your remembrance whatsoever God has said to us, John 14 26. I rely on the Holy Ghost for teaching, revelation, and understanding.
