Hello Rev. Rob Acts 2 38 is really for the sinners. The only thing that the Bible is telling the sinner is to get saved according to Acts 2 38. Then after you get saved they you are to live according to the word of God. You cannot clean a fish before you catch it, therefore for a sinner to live a clean life and still not have the salvation plan then when they die or when the rapture takes place they are still lost. They will not go up when the rapture takes place. If you read Acts Chapter 10 if I can say it like this Cornelius and his house were Gentiles, sinners, when Peter talked to them they were filled with the Holy Ghost and were baptized.
